The real beauty at the accommodation is the garden/terrace which offers all year long a breathtaking view of the lake, whether you’re sunbathing or just relaxing watching the boats crossing the lake. Apartment Rosanna is located in Tremezzo and, as most of the houses on Lake Como, is built against the hill and overlooks the lake. From the main street of Tremezzo, thirty easy and comfortable steps will lead you to the apartment. Tremezzo is one of the most popular tourist resorts of the area, on the western shore of Lake Como, opposite to Bellagio. Your apartment is situated right in the heart of Tremezzo close to which you will find the gardens of Villa Carlotta and the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, popular to take afternoon tea (dress up!) The apartment offers the perfect setting for holidays 365 days a year. In autumn and winter (ski fields close by, hiking, shopping in Christmas markets, mushroom hunting for those in the know) spring and summer (lake, beautiful and romantic villas close by, sports). The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Lake Como, the deepest lake in Europe, is 50 km long yet it is better known for providing relaxation, beauty, tranquility and charm in equail measure-not withstanding the excellent regional food and wine Italy is renowned for! Surrounded by Mediterranean bushes and snowy alpine peaks. Its charm comes both from the small fishing villages on the shore and from the surrounding mountains. Many villages have shores with small gravel beaches, pleasant harbours and water sport areas for windsurfing, sailing and water skiing, whilst the valleys and mountains are good for walking, hiking, mountain biking, and in winter for skiing. The slopes of the world renowned St Moritz slopes and Madesimo are within an easy reach ( 90 minutes by car)and offers an opportunity to combine a ski/lake holiday during the winter months. Summer here is all about relaxation. Good food, wine, cafe culture,sunbathing, golf, swimming, sailing and all watersports. Lake Como for centuries attracted visitors, with artists and writers such as Pliny and Shelley and its openness whilst modern day stars of screen such as George Clooney and fasion officiado Donatella Versace amongst others have decided to make this area their own private paradise. Como ( 35 mins), Milan (1 hr), and Lugano ( 45 mins) are all within easy reach. Designer fashion factory outlets near Como and the Swiss border are also accessible-please ask for more details. Tremezzo area
Upmarket Tremezzo is one of the most famous tourist resorts of the area and is situated on the sunny western shore of Lake Como, opposite to Bellagio. The local winds that gently underlate from the lake,guarantee the area a mild climate all year around. The impressive villas and big hotels, dating back to the 17th century, which stand along the edge of the lake, have made this village an international tourist destination. From spring to early summer the gardens along the lake are in spectacular bloom and the weather is warm: Villa Carlotta is just a short walk from your home, the renowned villas and gardens beckons for a lovely day out exploring the many glorious themed gardens, famous olde villa and provides wonderful photo opportunities of the lake where panoramic views abound. Bellagio is accessible by ferry from near by Cadennabia whist the lido in lenno is a golden sand beach where you can enjoy boat hire or just relax and enjoy the view as waitors bring you a cocktail beneath miniture tented gasebos. Tremezzo is the ideal place for an exclusive and relaxing holiday. There are frequent ferry connections across the length of Lake Como.
