Brookfield is a modern, semi-detached house backing onto green meadows just a short walk from the village of Tregony in Cornwall.
With six bedrooms (three doubles, two twins and a cot room) as well as two family bathrooms, this cottage can sleep ten people. The rest of the accommodation includes a fitted kitchen with a breakfast table, a dining room and a sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for three cars and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The cottage also provides a range of beach items including folding chairs, wind breaks, surfboards, buckets and spades etc, and with the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the beaches of the north and south coast all within a short drive, Brookfield is a fabulous holiday cottage for all of the family.

Beach items including folding chairs, wind breaks, surfboards, buckets and spades etc. Two well behaved dogs welcome (bring own dog basket, dogs to sleep in utility room). Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Farm shop 1 mile. Caerhays beach 5 miles. Note: Max 8 adults.

The Tregony area
The ancient village of Tregony sits at the head of the Roseland Peninsula, and makes an ideal base for exploring this part of Cornwall. There is easy access to the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, and also the cathedral city of Truro, which has good shopping, pubs and restaurants, as well as a theatre. Sandy beaches can be enjoyed within a few miles, and a walk along the coastal path is not to be missed.

Excellent place for families. Enough space to be together and to have time apart. And the house is well located to visit the many attractions in that area. We managed without a car but as it was Christmas this wasn't a real problem. Otherwise, although there is a hourly bus service, a car is pretty essential. It's about 6 miles to the beach. |
Guestbook for 4141 - Brookfield
The house was comfortable and warm and large enough to accommodate our party with room to spare. The owner, who lives in a property adjacent to the site but is not at all intrusive, was very helpful and gave members of our party lifts from and to the station so that we were able to get our trains. The house was well stocked, and even included washing powder, dishwasher tablets, black bags and enough toilet rolls. In many other places we have stayed, the place is completely devoid of these things so that was a real bonus. Small touches like this leave you with a positive feeling about the house.

,The owner was very welcoming and eager for us to enjoy our time at Brookfield, without being intrusive. The provision of beach equipment from buckets and spades to windbreaks was appreciated. Overall the standard of equipment and helpful information was very good.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
