About the home

Water's Edge is situated in the small and peaceful village of Four Mile Bridge, just a short drive from Holyhead and Trearddur Bay with its award winning beach.

The dining area offers fabulous views of the inland sea which is just a few moments walk from the front door.

A cafe, hairdressers and the Anchorage pub/restaurant are all within walking distance. The property is Ideally placed for exploring the coast and countryside of Anglesey.

Water's Edge offers a recently refurbished kitchen and bathroom (including P-shaped bath with shower over), with a separate laundry room, which has bags of room for coats, walking boots, fishing rods etc.

The bedrooms overlook the pretty, well-stocked garden at the rear, and the second bedroom has a patio door leading directly into the garden.

There is plenty of parking on the drive for two cars or a boat.

The North Wales / Anglesey region

Anglesey enjoys a mild climate and has many quiet beaches even at the height of the season. Anglesey's coastal path offers beautiful scenery at any time of year. The area is a paradise for cyclists, walkers, boating enthusiasts and anglers.

Why not take a drive to South Stack lighthouse and the R.S.P.B. reserve, to Holyhead's shops or marina or the many beaches on the island?

For the more adventurous visit rugged Snowdonia, or for a more leisurely day out stroll around the National Trust properties of Plas Newydd, Penrhyn Castle or Bodnant Gardens.

On arrival at Water's Edge, we offer a welcome tray of home-made Welsh Bara Brith, along with tea, sugar and coffee.
Nearby are The White Eagle "gastro pub" at Rhoscolyn, with wonderful home made food, The Seacroft at Trearddur Bay, recently refurbished to a high standard, The Anchorage at Four Mile Bridge - within walking distance of the property and Y Gegin Fach, a small cafe in the village offering full Welsh breakfasts, home-made soup and delicious home-made cakes.

Take the A55 cross Anglesey and leave at the junction signposted Valley. Follow signs to Valley. At the first set of traffic lights turn left signed Four Mile bridge and Treaddur Bay. Follow this road for about 2 miles into the village of Four Mile Bridge and cross over the bridge. Go past the bus stop on the left, take the first left then immediately left. Take the next left into Rhodfa Gwilym. Water's Edge is the last bungalow at the end of the cul de sac, on the right hand side.
