Home description

The Boat House is a modern Scandinavian style house with balconies to the front and rear. It is situated in the centre of Trearddur Bay and is within easy walking distance from the main beach in Trearddur Bay. To the rear there are views over the bowling green and the sea beyond.

Trearddur Bay has a beautiful coastline and is an ideal place for all water sports including , sailing, water skiing, diving, fishing and swimming. It also has famous bird watching facilities nearby. There is also a golf course, riding stables, restaurants, pubs, shops and of course the Blue Flag beach all within reach.

Daily ferries to Ireland run from the nearby port of Holyhead. Near Holyhead town are a number of large shops including Tesco, Iceland, and a newly opened Morrisons supermarket.

The front entrance door leads into a small porch with a cloak/storage room off. The property is open plan downstairs with a breakfast bar separating the large kitchen area from the dining area and beyond that the lounge.

In the lounge area there is a cream leather three piece suite, coffee table, a 42 inch wide screen plasma TV with DVD player and cinema surround system and a sky box, a separate HiFi unit which plays CDs and tapes. An electric flame-effect fire (remote controlled). And a French door which leads out to a small patio area with a small table and chairs.

In the dining area there is a large glass table with six chairs, a display unit, and stairs which lead up to the bedrooms. Around the breakfast bar there are 4 bar stools. (Two extra stools stored under stairs).

The kitchen is fully fitted with mahogany units, built in halogen hob, oven and microwave. There is also an iron, ironing board and toaster, crockery and utensils are supplied. There is a separate utility room, with a washing machine, dishwasher, a sink and drainer and a fridge and freezer which are built in. There is a downstairs toilet off the utility room and the back door leading outside onto the top decking area.

There are three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs:

Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2) has a kingsize bed, fitted double wardrobe, and bedside tables. There is a door leading onto the rear balcony with lovely views over the bowling green to the sea.

Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2) has a double bed, a wardrobe, and bedside tables. There is a door that leads onto the front balcony which catches the morning sun. This bedroom also has a wall mounted 32" Hitachi high definition television and D.V.D player.

Bedroom 3 (sleeps 2) has bunk beds, a double wardrobe and a dressing table.

The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower attached, a separate walk in shower unit with electric shower, a wash basin with illuminated mirror over, and toilet.

Outside is a long driveway which will accommodate at least three cars plus boats. At the front of the property there are lawns and a small patio area with a small table and chairs just outside the French door, a nice place to sit for morning coffee. The rear of the property catches the sun from about 11 am until dusk. Just outside the back door is a large decking area. It has a large table with six chairs for outside dining. There is ranch fencing around the decking and a gate with two steps leading onto a lower decking area, beyond which is a good sized lawn leading onto a further decking area at the bottom of the garden. This has a summer house and a fixed glass top bar table and high stools. From here there are beautiful views of the sea and countryside. There is also a kettle barbecue for your use.

The outside area has parking for 3 to 4 cars, as you step outside from the kitchen area is has decking area which has a table and chairs for 6 people, this area with the lawned garden has the sun from late morning until dusk.The bottom of the garden also has fabulous decking area and a summer house for eating Al fresco with views towards the sea and beautiful coastline.
The garden is private, relaxed and very well looked after throughout the year, the upstairs has a balcony looking over the sea which is lovely to wake up to with a morning coffee.

A reservation fee of £100.00 which also acts a refundable deposit is required immediately after the booking is agreed.
