The Igloo is set at the end of a 400 yard lane and occupies unrivalled estuary position on the beautiful Holy Island off Anglesey. There is easy access to the coastal footpath, with miles of local countryside and wildlife to explore. Two miles from the Beautiful Blue Flag beach of Trearddur Bay and the the lovely picture postcard beach of Rhoscolyn.

The North Wales / Snowdonia / Anglesey region
The Snowdonia Mountain range is about 45 minutes drive away for those who like serious walks or perhaps even for those who prefer more gentle strolls in the foothills...its all there. Anglesey itself has an amazingly varied coast line, being rugged and harsh in parts and yet at the same time other parts are soft and gentle with many picturesque beaches for family enjoyment and entertainment. Visit Beaumaris castle, druid circles between the north and south stacks near Holyhead , walk up Holyhead Mountain where , on a clear day, you can see Ireland, the Isle of Man and much more besides or descend the 300+ steps towards the South Stack Lighthouse (don't forget you have to climb them later) or for a less energetic time perhaps a visit to the County town of Anglesey at Llangefni, which is in the middle of the Island.
Trearddur Bay / Four Mile Bridge area
The types of holiday activities to be enjoyed from The Igloo include sailing , swimming, canoeing and other water sports. Most likely these activities will be best in the spring/summer /autumn. Also, from the house, there is direct access to the coastal footpath system for walks , long and short. For the birdwatchers , there is an abundance of different types of sea birds on the inland sea , which at high tide come around the house.There is also an RSPB station near to the south stack lighthouse about 6 miles away or if you want to just chill out and take it easy then you can in the comfort and warmth of The Igloo at any time of the year Oyster Festival - October 2009 Trearddur Bay Hotel - 2 miles away. The views across to the Snowdonia Mountains are breathtaking similar to the views of the Inland sea and wildlife. Nearby is RAF Valley with the Search and Rescue yellow helicopters, also a training camp for pilots on the fast jet Hawk aircraft. Walkers can enjoy the nearby coastal path for some great walks and scenery, which can lead to the nearby award winning White Eagle pub for a nice cool beer or glass of wine.

Further details indoors: The Igloo has a spacious modern kitchen with large dining room table. It includes a new electric Aga with separate module( in total 6 cooking rings and 5 ovens). integrated dishwasher, fridge x 2 and freezer. There are three bedrooms - a double with en suite shower room, a family room with a double and single bed and a room with 3ft bunk beds. There is a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The washing machine and dryer are in a cupboard in the family bathroom. There is oil fired central heating, with additional electric underfloor heating and a cosy log fire in the living room. TV and DVD with a radio/cd player in the kitchen area.
Further details outdoors: There is ample parking for cars in the courtyard, with a beautifully built stone patio are with table and chairs for dining and enjoying the sea views and wildlife surrounding the property also the Snowdonia Range of mountains. The garden is shrubbed and lawned with an outside hot and cold shower. BBQ also available. The Coastal footpath is located by the wooden garden gate near to the property.
