A superbly appointed five bedroom detached executive home on three floors. Amongst the many attractive features are a large sun deck on the second floor, accessed from the lounge, and a balcony on the third floor – opening out from the spacious master bedroom.

This property with stunning sea views and just a mere hop from the beach, is sure to be a very popular choice with holiday makers. Sleeps up to 10.

Set over 3 floors, the property offers spacious accommodation with a real sense of style. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor one with en suite and 3 further on the top floor. 2 of the bedrooms are en suite and there is also a family bathroom. The master suite also has a dressing room and private sun terrace. The first floor has a fantastic lounge and kitchen/dining area, both with access out onto the sun terrace overlooking the bay.

The rear garden is also a delight, being tiered and landscaped to take full advantage of the stunning views across the bay and surrounding coastline an ideal place to watch the sun rise & set. The View also benefits by having a private driveway with garage & equipped utility room.

At this time we request a separate cheque of £200 being the security/good housekeeping deposit which is only banked the week of arrival and will be refunded within five working days of departure subject to final inspection and inventory check.

Pets - The acceptance of animals is negotiable depending upon breed of pet and level of house training. Animals must not be left unattended in the property or allowed on the furniture.

There is a charge of £5.00 per night for any animals that are accepted. This covers additional cleaning with anti-allergy products for the comfort and safety of future guests.

The North Wales region

Anglesey has a spectacular & diverse coastline, most of which is classified as areas of outstanding natural beauty, excellent for scenic walks. Trearddur Bay itself typifies this with its golden sandy beach.

Undoubtedly one of Anglesey's premier beaches, Trearddur Bay combines cleanliness with space. Depending on the time of the year, there is a vast amount of sand, with an abundance of water sports, including canoeing, sailing, surfboarding, and water skiing.

Situated just south of Holyhead on Holy Island, or Ynys Gybi, Trearddur bay is a natural harbour with a gently sloping, sandy beach that is further enhanced by its variety of quality restaurants & excellent beach shops.

An added attraction is that the weather around Trearddur bay is usually mild, as the sea is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the worst storms exhaust themselves on the mountains of Snowdonia, making it a great place for a family break.

Trearddur Bay

Idle Rocks is within 400yrds of Trearddur Bay a blue flag beach. The area offers the standard of bathing water quality and beach management and is a fantastic for water sport enthusiasts - sheltered sandy bays, remote coves, calm and wild waters and smaller offshore islands are perfect for sailing surfing and canoeing. Superb for a spot of sea fishing from shore or boat.

There is an excellent dive shop in Trearddur Bay wih more than 100 wrecks to explore in the clean clear waters. Rhosneigr, just down the coast has it's own surf school which becomes quickly booked up in the summer months, so book early. Here you can sit on the long sweeping beaches and watch the many who try their hand at sand-yacht racing, wind and kite surfing. Book a day at the track and go motor racing at Ty Croes.

Worth a visit is South Stack Cliffs and lighthouse, This breathtaking clifftop site on Holy Island boasts walks, a visitor centre and CCTV to view nesting birds. In the summer months over 4,000 pairs of sea birds nest at South Stack cliffs including Puffins, Guillemots and Razorbills. There are more than 650 miles of footpaths spanning rugged coastal cliffs to ancient woodlands. There is a host of local shops, cafes and restaurants. Supermarkets Tesco & Morrisons are just five minutes away in the car as is a shopping outlet with many varied shops.

Holyhead to the north of the Island is just a 2 miles away with a Roman Fortress and a church dating back to the 14th century. Day trips to Ireland are within an hour and a half on the fast ferries, so don't forget to bring your passports. A new cinema complex is being developed in the area and bowling alley within a 5 minute drive.

You could indulge yourself at the Tre-Ysgawen Spa with a touch of luxury and many treatments on offer. Why not spend a full day shopping in Bangor.

"A relaxing get away."

My family and I stayed at Idle Rocks recently for my husbands birthday and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home. There was everything you could possibly need.It is in a prime location and is 5 minutes walkaway from the beach.If you just want to relax you can do so inside or out, there is a games room in the garage, a balcony where you can sit and enjoy a nice glass of wine and watch the waves crashing onto the rocks, ort there are places within walking distance where you can eat. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are very clean.We loved the master bedroom.The agents and the owners are very helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. To be honest I have read a review from someone who stayed there and I think they must have stayed at a different place to us.We found it to be everything we wanted and enjoyed our few days there, despite the weather!

Thank you for taking the time to review this property. We are agents for Idle Rocks and it has been on our books for five years now. This is the first negative review we have received about this property and we can assure you we do act on any feedback with the owners.

The guest book in this property if full of wonderful comments and we get emails from guests including yourselves (see below) telling us how very clean and welcoming this property is.

This is why, we are somewhat baffled by the negative nature of this review as it totally contradicts the email which was sent to us by the party leader. (see below)

Hi Nicola
We have arrived back home after our stay at Idle Rocks.
I would like to report one broken wine glass (not part of a set). Also, the owners had a canvas chair on the balcony, upon sitting on the chair the canvas gave way. The person who sat on the chair was not over weight, it was simply wear and tear. The canvas chair appeared to be quite old as the material was quite faded. The good news is we managed to extract my father from the chair without injury.
We all enjoyed our stay and the holiday home was very clean and welcoming.

We have just received this review from Trip Adviser regarding Idle Rocks. Please could you confirm that you have written it as we have suspicion of fraud due to the fact that the review directly contradicts your email above saying "We all enjoyed our stay and the holiday home was very clean and welcoming"
We are a bit bewildered as to the comments because no issues were raised with either the owners or ourselves during or after your stay and the feedback we got from yourself via email was positive. Also, the review says that you fell through a chair but you clearly state in your email that it was your father. Again, a direct contradiction of what you have told us.
We obviously need to establish the facts so would be very grateful if you could report back to us on this issue.

I apologise about the comments left on Trip Advisor.
It wasnt myself who made the comments, without knowing for sure, I believe the comments were made by my sister and can be very blunt and harsh.
The decoration was absolutely fine.
I suppose my sister had a point about one of the conservatory windows.
With regard to the BBQ I heard my sister saying that it wasn't as clean as it should be, but I never actually inspected it myself, so I can't comment. What I can say is that there was a plastic bag and some other debris left in the corner by the BBQ, which didn't make it welcoming.
In my opinion the kitchen was fine.
Little things I suppose which should have been attended to before a let, let the property down.
Overall though, in my opinion, the house was very clean and welcoming.

We have spoken to the owner and in response to your review.

We have been to the property back in March 2013 to re-photograph the property as the owner called us to say it has been re-decorated. New carpets were laid over the winter period therefore the owners disagree with your comment of it being dated.
Regarding the conservatory window, the owners have a window cleaner who visits the property every two weeks and what you think is one dirty window is in fact a double glazed unit that has failed over the winter period.
Regarding the BBQ, this has now been replaced ready for this spring/summer season, the owners apologise for not removing the old BBQ. However, if you had contacted them saying you intended to have a BBQ over a very rainy/cold weekend, then they would have dropped one off. The black bag that was next to the BBQ contained BBQ charcoal.
The TV that kept freezing was due to bad reception as a few days before your stay, there were very windy storms which damaged the outside aerial and as a temporary fix the day before your stay, the owners connected up an aerial in the loft as the aerial fitter could not get to the property until after your stay.
The chair that you or your father (as your email contradicts who was sitting in it) broke has now been replaced.
Regarding the kitchen, again your email contradicts the review by saying “the holiday home was very clean and welcoming”. The owners are at a loss as to why you would state it was dirty and sticky because the cleaners had ensured it was cleaned to a high standard.
Kitchen utensils: An inventory has been made and missing items replaced.
As you say this property is in a good location to the beach and we know the owners have acted on your points raised in your contradicting review as they have invested a lot in this property and strive to keep the constant quality they deliver in this wonderful holiday home.
Thank you for the time you took to do your contradicting review. All suggestions are very much welcomed as the owners of all the properties we market are always looking to improve guest's stays. However on this occasion we do feel that this review is not balanced or fair due to the due contradictions we have mentioned and the fact that nothing was mentioned to the owners or ourselves during your stay. We think it is very unfortunate that you chose to slate the property online rather than address the issues with us.
