Places of interest include South Stack lighthouse, Llanddwyn Island, Penmynydd (the birthplace of the Tudors), Beaumaris, Snowdonia (30 minutes by car) and Anglesey Sea Zoo.
Trearddur Bay is located on the north west tip of Anglesey on Holy Island. Mainly residential, the bay has three lovely beaches, a post office and stores, and a couple of places to eat out. Activities include watersports, bird watching, coastal walking, golf (2 miles away). Kite surfing and tennis are a short drive away.

"Perfect location and superb view of Trearddur Bay."
We found the cottage to be in a perfect location and within a very short distance of two small sandy beaches of Port Diana and Port y Castell and only a short walk to the main beach at Trearddur.
The view from the patio was superb looking out to sea and across Trearddur Bay.
We were so impressed and enjoyed our stay at the Breakers so much that we intend to try and book this holiday cottage again.

I regret that our guests to our house in December did not enjoy their stay but I would like to make a few comments in response to their negative review left today.
The house has full gas central heating and even though it is not on prior to arrival, it does not take long to warm up. When not occupied during the winter, the heating is on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening to keep it ticking over.
Our guests were fully aware that the house does not have a microwave or freezer prior to their booking the house as we exchanged emails about this.
The dishwasher in the property is fully functional and no one else has had a problem using it. We leave dishwasher tablets for guests.
Our open fire in the sitting room is a coal fire and we understand that our guests used wood to burn which accounts for the smoke.
The house meets all legal requirements with up to date landlord gas and electricity certificates.
It was unfortunate that the oven broke down whilst our guests were in the property but it was replaced within 24 hours with a new one. There is a gas hob in addition to the oven so our guests were not left completely without any form of cooking equipment.
One pillow has since been replaced and all duvets and pillows are laundered on a regular basis.
The house is cleaned before guests arrive and when they leave so we do not leave a hoover and other cleaning equipment for our guests to clean.
Having established that our guests were not happy on arrival at the house (day 1), I offered them a full refund if they wished to leave. They chose to stay and did so for 8 days.
The Breakers is our much loved family holiday home which we rent out for the times that we are not using it. We do everything we can to ensure that it is functional and comfortable for our guests. We have rented the house since September 2011 and have had many positive comments and some repeat bookings.
