Cwm Farm is charmingly and sympathetically decorated, it is found at the back of Trearddur Bay and its acreage runs down to the inland sea, perfect for canoeists, sea kayers and windsurfers. Dog owners also love Cwm Farm for the 40 acres available for guests to explore with their dogs.
The farmhouse offers plenty of space downstairs including a sitting room with an open fire, a spacious kitchen / diner and an appropriately named sun room. The stairs to the 3 bedrooms runs up from the sitting room and are all off a small landing. The Bothy offers seperate accommodation but is just across the lawn from the main house, it has 1 double bed bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom. Glamping type accommodation! For family get togethers or wet days, there is also a large barn annexed to the end of the farmhouse. Truly a treat of a place to stay!

The Bothy offers the opportunity for guests to invite their own guests or in laws to stay but be aware, the Bothy is BASIC!
|Further details outdoors|
Cwm Farm's enclosed garden makes it safe and secure for dogs and children, depending on the time of year there is a bluebell wood and an apple strewn orchard. Plus the 40 acres of fields that surround the house and run down to Cwm Farm's own rocky inlet on Anglesey's wave free inland sea.
Dog walkers please note, we cannot guarantee that sheep will not be in the fields during your stay, in which case we ask that you keep your dogs on a lead.
The North Wales region
North Wales is an extremely popular holiday destination, with its varied but unquestionably stunning scenery; ranging from the dramatic Snowdonia mountain peaks to the rugged beauty of Anglesey's coastal paths and beaches. Increasingly accessible by road, rail and ferry from Ireland, there is a wealth of things to see and do. Whatever type of holiday you are searching for: whether with family, a romantic break, indulging in your favourite sport, sampling locally produced food and wine or exploring this ancient land's rich cultural history or even all of the above, North Wales has it all and more!
Trearddur Bay offers plenty to do without even having to get in to your car. In addition to the stunning beach, to name but a few: the Anglesey coastal footpath, Trearddur Bay Marine & Leisure for boat hire, Trearddur Bay Diving Services, sea fishing, sailing, sea kayaking, horseriding at Porth y Post riding school, Holyhead golf course and swimming in the sea! For those wishing to eat and drink, there are plenty of options: The Seacroft Pub & Restaurant, The Trearddur Bay Hotel, The Waterfront restaurant and The Bay cafe and a bakery at the Trearddur Bay Village Stores. If however you wish to explore further afield Anglesey is packed with things to do whether its climbing South Stack Lighthouse, exploring Llynon windmill, the only working windmill in Wales, bird watching at Cemlyn, car racing at Cartio Mon, Foel Farm for children to see a working farm in action, the Anglesey sea zoo.... the list is endless and with so much to do, you will be want ing to return before your holiday has even ended!

"A welcoming and cosy house with superb grounds"
We have now been 3 times to Cwm Farm. We have a toddler and 2 retrievers so it's the perfect place! The grounds are great for exploring and shorter walks whilst it's also ideally located for some coastline hikes; The paths from Rhoscolyn and especially Church Bay are spectacular. The house is clean and well equipped, although the lounge and the main bathroom are a little dated. The kitchen and the sunroom more than make up for it however, and are great places to relax. The attached internal barn makes a perfect children's games room if the weather is a bit grim. The gardens are well maintained with good views and are secure if needed. In summary I would highly recommend a holiday there and I'm sure we'll be back at some point.

Cwm Farm, can't rate it enough. have been a number of times always excellent. Better than home from home. Very well provided for with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Nice private walks and close to beach and rockpools. If you decide to go, try the Imperial just a short ride towards Treadur bay excellent Chinese food. Also give the Standing Stones Pub by Morrisons a try great food and good offers. I would like to thank the owners for allowing us to use their jewel of the island for an excellent holiday all our family enjoy going there year after year.

"We[--]ll be back!"
We spent a totally relaxed week in this lovely farmhouse. The accomodation was perfect, spacious, cosy and welcoming. We spent a lot of time in the huge kitchen, so well equipped, where our two dogs could sprawl after enjoying a romp in the fields. A nice sunroom with great views and a cosy lounge to chill out in. Excellent accomodation for a big family get together. Plenty of great walks in the surrounding area including a couple of nice country parks and the glorious mountains of Snowdonia just about a hour's drive away. The booking process was excellent, helpful information on the local area, restaurants, pubs, shopping, etc. was provided along with comprehensive directions to the property. (We did still manage to miss the turning!). We were really sad to leave after our week and can see why so many people return to this lovely holiday home. We will surely be back!

"A relaxing break in a lovely location"
A wonderfully positioned period farmhouse, secluded but within easy walking distance of Trearddur. The house was sympathetically furnished and very well equipped. A good time was had by all despite the weather (particularly our dog!). Would definitely book again.

"Come to Cwm Farm and experience total relaxation or explore ,age range 5 -85 (experienced) or 0 - 100 envisaged"
Cwm Farm is approached down a little country lane, easy to miss on your first visit (you will be back again),directions given are good it would be easier if you avoid arriving in the dark.Once you arrive and dump your bag, relax.Everything you may need you will find, the kitchen flows no lack of anything just like home from home, baking no problem. The open fire so nice in the evenings to sit around after dinner, the sun room with lovely views, the perfect place for a sundowner.Clean crisp linen. Two local shops can replenish your coal/kindling supply. No,being pet friendly the place does not smell of dogs, there is a vaccum if they are malting. There is about four steps into the kitchen to neotiate if you are not so able bodied. The ideal thing for me at this property was the space, with a family ranging from mum age 85,2 teenage boys, a 10 year old widlife loving diva and a 5 year old.Not to mention the husband and four dogs. There is room for everyone and we were not to full capacity. No one needs to be under your feet, teenagers can play guitar in the boffy till their hearts content,Nana can have a tea in the sunroom, children can be in the gardens. The property has extensive grounds great for exploring including its own sea inlet. (take your wellies). Please shut gates behind you and put dogs on a lead if going into the fields, the sheep are a welcoming sight so lets keep them safe.Tregardur Bay is a short drive,5 mins so take your wetsuits surfboard and fishing rod, picnic and bbq.If you go in the summer all the better but crabbing is just as much fun anytime, monkfish and starfish too.(remember to pop them back).Coast or country, staying in or out and about, all is on offer. - just dont book when i want to go !!
