Anglesey's sandy beaches provide a perfect location for family and activity holidays. Moel-y-Don is only 400m from the Trearddur main beach. White sand for kids and sandcastles. Blue seas for swimming, surfing, sailing,canoeing. Rocks are close for climbers, fisherman and hidden coves are perfect for exploring canoeists. The Beach Golf course is close by. The mainy surrounding sandy beaches provide a perfect place for family and beach holidays. Moel y Don is in easy walking distance of several beaches and hidden coves.The rocky coastline links the fine beaches and offers great exploring for the walker and fisherman.

The spectacular coastline is a hive for water sport enthusiats. .Learning to sail on the inland sea, between Holy Island and main land Angelsey, provides a safe and gentle place to learn the sports of windsurfing and sailing. When the surfs up 'Hang Ten!' with other surfers on many of the popular surfing locations. Diving is popular (wrecks) and there are many diving schools with their own boats. From Trearddur Bay to Holyhead, passing the famous Gogarth Cliffs (biggest in Wales), provides canoeists with the most spectacular sea journey in Wales. Many famous canoeist live and work in this area.Climbers enjoy the many sea cliffs around South Stack and Holy head Mountain, 5min drive away. Coasteering and sea level traversing around many parts is excellent The Horse riding stables caters for novice through to expert rides on trails around the coastline. South Stack Cliffs (SSSI), owned and manged by the RSPB is one of Angelsesy most popular tourist and Twitcher attractions. Visiting and experiencing the South Stack Lighthouse is an adventure all should experience. Many golfers enjoy the sea air and fanstic sea views while playing one of the two local courses in Trearddur Bay. There is a big sports centre, with indoor swimming pool, on the outskirts of the town. From the Train station various bikes can be hired to cycle around the Island,including well marked great mountain bike trails.

Trearddur Bay is a well managed and love by the local inhabitants who welcome tourists through out the year. Many of the local clubs (Sailing,tennis, golf, football etc) provide summer programmes not only for local people but for the visitors to the area. All the shops have friendly and helpful owners and the many Restaurants and Pubs provide food and drinks to suit every person and pocket. The Trearddur Bay Hotel, The Sea Croft and White Eagle provide high quality restaurants and pubs for the family while the Waterfront has a more younger clientel with music and dancing. There is a local Chinese Restaurant and its not far to Valley and Holyhead to many Curry Houses.

Shops galore in and on the outskirts of Holyhead 5min in a car away.Holyhead has a Tesco Extra, big Morrisons, Asda and many other retail shops.Making Holyhead Angelsey main shopping centre.

"Beautiful Bungalow; Lovely surroundings"
