The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful bays of the area which from Scopello leads to the Riserva dello Zingaro. The position inside a well kept, fenced area, the short (200 m) distance from the sea, the fabulous panoramic view make this property an ideal place for a sea and sun holiday with plenty of relaxation. The interiors are in typical Sicilian style. Large outdoor area.

The villa is equipped with a washing machine and sat-tv. There is a panoramic furnished terrace and large outdoor space with a fenced-in garden with parking.

The Sicily region

“Tranquil place and nice villa” We, 2 adults and 1 one child, enjoyed our 7 days' holiday in mid October. We liked the environment around Scopello, about 50 minutes drive from Trapani airport. It was very tranquil out of the tourist season. Weather was fine, temperature +24–27 C. Scopello is a charming little village up in the hillside. There is a nice cafe and several restaurants. We liked especially La Trattoria, serving fresh and tasty seafood. Also the near Lo Zingaro nature reserve was an extra plus. We hiked about 1 km from the P-place to the nearest cove and did some scuba diving. The villa was very spacious, well ecquiped and clean. There were all the necessities for cooking and ordinary housekeeping eg. brand new fridge and washing machine.

“Lovely spot but the villa too expensive” We have just come back from beautiful Scopello with crystal clear water and fabulous food. The villa is in a great private setting but has got a lot of annoying faults and is expensive for what it is. Fridge door didn't close properly, kitchen tap flew off when washing up, bathroom is teeny and very shabby, beds are not very comfortable and the head board on the double bed is sort of just plonked at the top of the bed and moves around constantly. They said there was going to be a DVD player but there was none. Air conditioning is not included so after 2 weeks with over 40 degrees keeping it on during the night , we were charged 117 Euros in addition to the already hefty rental price. We managed to pay less only because we did not actually have the cash at the moment. No cushions provided for the plastic sunbeds and trust me, that is very uncomfortable! All in all, the very bare minimum was provided for a rather large price. With small kids (6 and 4) in this area we found it difficult to entertain them in the stonking heat. The food was great nearly everywhere and we particularly loved Ristorante lo Zingaro as it had a couple of slides for the kids to play on and a magnificent vista and superb staff. Marsala, Trapani, castellamare, palermo, all very interesting and pretty but nearly everything was closed. The Alimentari in Scopello was open and lovely but very expensive so not a place to do the regular shopping. You would need a car to get around and for anyone who might, best food and best atmosphere with live music and local family restaurant at Buseto palizzolo 'Pepe e Nino'. The responsible person for our villa and others in the area was not a very approachable person and worried more about a tiny little wooden bit to stick in-between the cupboard door to keep it shut than the fact that the fridge door didn't close. The TV is very old and certainly no luxury to the chilling out area and no Wi fi at all. There are no cleaning materials provided, not even a dustpan and brush , and after the hefty fires around the area and the house covered in ashes made it rather dirty. The kitchen has plenty of stuff but half of it semi broken and no scissors or working cheese grater. As i said, beautiful place but if you are to rent this villa, barter and get the price down A LOT! I understand you enjoyed very much the area and particularly the location of the villa, which is embedded in one of the most exclusive bays of Scopello and of all Sicily, having a private access to the spectacular sea. Considering these factors, and adding the available space the villa offers, plus the period of august (which is Top High Season), nevertheless, we are able to offer a very competitive price for this villa compared to others. I'm sorry for little disappointments concerning a few details of the equipment, which unfortunately where found in a not perfect state due to usage. However, we are committed to satisfy all possible needs of our clients when we are asked for. I regret you didn't give us any notice about your complaints during your stay, I'm sure we could have found a solution together.

“Sicilian dream” We spent lovely two weeks in villa La Cala and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the sun. We went in the beginning of September - the weather was great and the sea very warm. The villa is situated in the restricted access area; we felt safe and there was hardly no people passing by. We were staying with small children and it mattered to us. The villa has a private access to the small, pebble beach. There are other beaches nearby - sandy and pebbles, whatever you prefer. The villa is very specious and clean, with lovely, fully equipped, homely kitchen. The house is looking even better than on the pictures. The outside shower is an excellent feature. There is an air condition unit in each bedroom. This is extra charged (reasonably). You need a car if you want to stay there. If the beach is not enough for you there is plenty to see within an hour/1/2 hour drive. The owner was very helpful and cooperative, providing us with everything we needed. We will be back there in the near future.
