The position inside a well kept, fenced area, the short (200 m) distance from the sea, the fabulous panoramic view make this property an ideal place for a sea and sun holiday with plenty of relaxation. The interiors are in typical Sicilian style. Large outdoor area.

The Sicily region
The Elemi, Phoenician, Carthaginian, Greeks, Arabs and Normans settled the Western side of the island. In the past this area was called “ Val di Mazara; it includes hilly landscapes covered by rich Olive groves and well grown vineyards.
Along the coastal landscape you can admire not only beautiful beaches of golden sand that look over the African sea, as well as stretches of rock coast suitable for snorkelling and pleasure craft. This is the area of Tonnara” (Tuna fish processing farm), of “ Blue fish”, of the “ salt routes ”, of the Zingaro, of Moscato and Marsala, “ “ Liquid Gold”, of the Temples and Mosaics.
The Trapani / Scopello area
The place is famous for its ancient "Tonnara" and the warm and crystal clear sea.
You will find lovely sandy beaches in Castellammare del Golfo and surroundings.
Places to visit: Scopello and Zingaro natural park 1 Km, Erice 60 Km, Segesta 20 Km, Marsala 70 Km, Trapani 60 Km, Palermo 50 Km, Selinunte 60Km.

We spent lovely two weeks in villa La Cala and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the sun. We went in the beginning of September - the weather was great and the sea very warm. The villa is situated in the restricted access area; we felt safe and there was hardly no people passing by. We were staying with small children and it mattered to us. The villa has a private access to the small, pebble beach. There are other beaches nearby - sandy and pebbles, whatever you prefer. The villa is very specious and clean, with lovely, fully equipped, homely kitchen. The house is looking even better than on the pictures. The outside shower is an excellent feature. There is an air condition unit in each bedroom. This is extra charged (reasonably). You need a car if you want to stay there. If the beach is not enough for you there is plenty to see within an hour/1/2 hour drive. The owner was very helpful and cooperative, providing us with everything we needed. We will be back there in the near future. |
