About the home

The reflections of the sea, the contrasts of the sun and the glow of the sky, a splendid landscape will open to your eyes, the memory of past time.

An elegant terrace seems to peer the ripple of the waves and in the distance, the boats look like small rocks.

You will be wrapped by glorious light at sunset, you will fall in love with the view of boats twinkling in the dark.

Villa Uzzo is a charming and lovely sea view villa and is situated in a really scenic spot, inside a small residence and is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

The very large terrace has beautiful views of the sea from all angles; it is surrounded by a wonderful garden of 1.000 square meters.

Villa Uzzo has a beautiful sea view living-room with fire, a fully equipped kitchen, a double-bedrooms, a room with a single bed and twin beds, two sofas, a bathroom with shower, washing-machine, tv set lcd 26"

Outside there are two terraces, the first with a spectacular sea view and the second in the back, with barbecue and shower, private car parking, garden of 1.000 mq

We can have also two double bedrooms

The villa is set near fantastic sea itineraries, such as the Tuna Fishing, the beach of Guidaloca, the village of Scopello

It’s a very good base for exploring the wonders of Western Sicily.

The Sicily region

Sicily is the land where the wheat fields which in spring wave under the Grecian breeze, the seagulls which hover over the coast of Virgilian heroes, the rows of grape vines where Bacco melted under the Mediterranean sky, the sea where Odysseus pursued his familiar tales, the beloved peak of the Goddess Venus, the taste of freshly caught fish woven together with the aromas of the land fertilised by Ceres, the mythical island behind which the red, hot sun sleeps.

The Trapani / Scopello area

Scopello is famous for his Tuna Fishing and for its exceptionally clear water, making it possible to observe the sea bottom and also for its stacks. Immediately afterwards there is the incommensurable beautiful view of the Zingaro park, the happy natural paradise, which has miraculously survived, intact, in its exceptional, primitive beauty.

The Zingaro Park is the first nature reserve to have been set up in Sicily takes in a stretch of about 7 kilometres of splendid and absolutely unspoilt coast of the gulf of Castellammare and the mountain chain which is a magnificent setting for the little bays and steep cliffs. The Zingaro is extremely important for the abundance of rare and endemic plants and perhaps even more so for its fauna: the existence of highly varied ecological niches gives a great diversity which is not easily found in other parts of the island. In the Zingaro there nest and mate at least 39 bird species, mainly birds of prey, including the pilgrim falcon, the wind hover and the buzzard.

The area is also important from the archaeological point of view, seeing that in the spectacular Uzzo grotto there was one of the first prehistoric settlements in Sicily. The reserve is magnificently organised, with paths with precise direction, shelters, water taps, picnic areas, museums, car park and so forth; there are no roads and it can only be visited on foot.

“Excellent” Hi my name is Arek,I have been with my family for 2 weeks in this beautiful place.Most imporant for me was the view,morning sunrise everyday directly from the terrace,quiet place layed on the hill in the mountains,also help from Salvatore who help us with guide on this lovely area and help from the airport-rent car company.

"We had a great week in Villa Uzzo. It's set about 200m above sea level, which gives amazing views over Scopello and the bay Guidaloca.
There's a small locally supplied supermarket at the bottom of the hill with fresh fruit and veg, deli etc etc. There's plenty of places to go out to eat, but you don't really need to with fresh food on your doorstep and a breathtaking view from your patio! The Zingaro nature reserve is a few minutes drive away, from where you can walk to pedestrian access only beaches, which we had to ourselves before about 10am! You can also reach a few of the great historic sites within an hour or so by car: Segesta.
In summary a great place for a quiet week away from it all."
