Villa Lo Zingaro is situated in the most enchanting area of Scopello, near wonderful sea itineraries, such as the Tonnara ( 1.2 km ) or the Natural Reserve of Zingaro ( 1.6 km ) or the beach of Mazzo of Sciacca ( 1 km ); the village of Scopello is only 300 meters away.
It is surrounded by a beautiful garden of 4.000,00 square meters, with superb dwarf palms and wild olives and is situated in a panoramic and cool area. A splendid panoramic solarium, overhanging the villa, shows the gulf of Castellamare in its most intimate essence and is perfect for romantic dinners.
Furthermore, the owner, offers the possibility to organize some boat excursions ( 5.60 meters, engine 115 cv, maximum 8 persons ), paying only the fuel.

The Sicily region
Sicily is the biggest island of the Mediterranean and is surrounded by the Eolie, Egadi, Pelagie, Ustica and Pantelleria Islands. Sicily is crossed by three mountain ranges the Peloritani, Nebrodi and the Madonias and has the major volcanic apparatus of Europe, the Etna.
Since favoured for its Mediterranean climate, the island has submitted to the colonization of various populations like the Sicani, Elimi, Ausoni ans Siculi to the Greeks which arrived in the VIII century and on its coasts founded the cities Syracuse, Taormina, Agrigento, Selinunte, Imera, Solunto etc. of which remain numerous testimonies. With the Treaty of Vienna in 1815, Sicily became a region of the reign of the two Sicilies: this procured mal content and violent separatist acts like those in 1820, 1831, and 1848.
The revolution which exploded in 1860 gave way to Garibaldi to free Sicily with the expedition of the "Mille". The Bourbon reign fallen, the island became part of Italy with a plebiscite in October 1860. From the 15 th of May 1946 Sicily is a Region with a special Statute.
Trapani / Scopello area
Scopello is an ancient seaside village situated on the north west coast of Sicily. It was born round to a seventeenth century rural farm that is still visible on the central public square of the village.
Today it is a small village consisting of few houses and has a small paved square called Baglio. Scopello has fascinating and involving atmosphere, its inhabitants are friendly and hospitable. It is at the entrance of the Natural Reserve of Zingaro, a real paradise for sea-lovers with magnificent inlets, deep indentations, underwater grottoes, tunnels and the Tonnara.
Scopello is so beautiful that in the 2004, an International movie production chose it as the setting of the film “ Ocean’s twelve “. Furthermore Scopello is situated near other beautiful archaeological naturalistic and itineraries such as Segesta and Erice; Palermo is only 70 kilometres away. Segesta is an ancient city founded by the Elymians, mysterious population settled in western Sicily, it is famous for the elegant Doric Temple, in the summer is stage of theatrical representations. Erice is a magnificent medieval village and the visit in the city is an immersion in the past together with wonderful panoramas that space on the sea up to the Egadi Islands.

From May to October we organize the holidays from Saturday to Saturday. Villas will be available from 3.00pm on the Saturday and the departure on the Saturday at 10.00 am. The price includes supply of set bed and bath linen ( for person), consume electric, gas and water, initial and final cleaning.
The use of air-conditioning is a consume but the house is very cool.
We can organize some boat excursions on the Zingaro Reserve paying only the fuel; you'll be alone with the skipper.
Pets are not permitted.
