Villa Livia has been completely renovated to a very high standard ; the interior of the villa is elegantly furnished.
On the ground floor there' s a large charming fully equipped country kitchen , with a range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher; a dining space overlooking the private garden and one toilet with sicilian traditional terracotta floors.The sitting room has frescoed ceilings and is furnished with antiques and a fireplace.
The comfortable cosy reading room open its windows in the garden.
From the first floor is it is possible to amire the garden and smell the scent of many plants and flowers . A spacious sitting room welcome you with all its comforts .
Both of the dependences offer you all the conforts and are tastetefully furnished.

The Sicily region

Sicily is the largest island in the mediterranean and the southernmost part of Italy.
It has lush subtropical vegetation around the coast and many superb archaeological sites ( Selinunte Agrigento Segesta)and beautiful building surviving from the past .Sicily has particulary beautiful sandy and pebbles beaches and wonderful mountain scenery in the interior.
Palermo has fascinating Arab Norman buildings, famous for their wonderful mosaics.
The huge active volcano Etna is a national park.
The food of Sicily is extremely good and inexpensive.

This island has mild winters and hot summers.

The Trapani / Partanna area

Partanna is situated in the Belice valley and it preserves a Norman castle built in 17 C recently restored and opened to the public(closed on monday)

The Chiesa Matrice has been partially reconstructed ,it contains stuccoes by Vincenzo da Messina , an organ by Paolo Amato,and a statue of the Madonna by the bottega Laurana.

Recent excavation have broght to light the prehistoric site of Contrada Stretto and the neolitic artefacts are preserved in the civic museum of the prehistory in the Norman castle.
