Recently built in the traditional style unique to Pantelleria, this house comes with all the modern comforts .This house has been recently built and well-finished. It is situated near the village of Scauri and its small port. Here you will find all amenities( including a restaurant on the sea) except for bank and petrol station. These are located in Pantelleria town 14 km away. At the Scauri harbour it is possible to hire a dinghy or a boat to enjoy the island from the sea!
Entrance through a large open plan living area with sofa, dining table with chairs and kitchen. The presence of a window with spectacular sea views outweighs the lack of oven. An archway of the living area leads to the double bedroom with built-in wardrobes and bathroom with shower.

The Sicily region
Sicily (Sicilia) is the largest Mediterranean island, and is situated at the foot of Italy near the Northern coast of Africa. It is a volcanic island with Mount Etna, Europe's highest and most active volcano near Catania in the north east of the island. There are hundreds of beautiful beaches where sea of all different shades of blue glisten onto shores of white pebbles and sands. Sicily is an island full of tradition, history , good food and wine.
Trapani / Pantelleria area
Pantelleria, after Malta, is the largest of the islands surrounding Sicily. The island enjoys a mediterrenean climate with hot summers and mild winters. It is a wonderful place for those who love fishing or underwater photography. The inhabitants (7400) are known for their warm hospitality. Touring in Pantelleria means, walking through the path in the natural reserve and looking for Porcini mushroom, going to the natural Sauna in the cave of "Benikulà" or a warm bath in the natural hot spring of "Gadir". In the summer season you can rent a boat to visit the many bays accessible only from the sea or to visit the many marine caves throughout the seacoast. For dive lovers there are several diving centres on the island which organize daily excursions to discover the undersea world. A lovely village is Scauri, where you can find a grocery, bakery, post office and a pharmacy and even some gift shops!!! Scauri also offers the only cinema on the island which is run by the local priests. In the area there is also a very good restaurant called "La Nicchia" where we strongly suggest to try the grilled jumbo shrimp (gamberoni) with the natural honey from zibibbo grapes. Near Scauri there is a beach called "Punta Tre Pietre" easy to locate since you can still see the skeleton of an abandoned hotel. Also if you go to "La Vela" restaurant ask about the place to swim, you'll reach an almost secret place! Another nice village is Tracino, where you can find a grocery and a very nice restaurant "I Mulini". Nearby, you will find a scuba-diving centre and a cool bar for some beers or good fresh fruit salads. Ask the diving centre about boat rentals so you can explore the beautiful coast line of the island.

Fly direct to Palermo Airport with Ryanair from London Stansted. Ryanair direct flight Dublin Trapani Easyjet from London Gatwick to Palermo Airport.
