The west side of the island has beautiful scenery namely the Zingaro Nature Reserve (in the Province of Trapani), and the area of Monte Cofano with its ancient caves in Scurati. Between Trapani and Marsala, in the protected area of Stagnone, is the Via del Sale (The Salt Route) with windmills for processing salt, some of which are still operating, while others are set up as historical museums. Guestbook for Trapani historical centre
Excellent property, loved the patio and everything else.Trapani was beautiful, friendly, and exactly what we were looking for. 10/25/07 We loved it. The outdoor courtyard was especially great. We were very lucky to find you on the net and find such a character property to stay in in a prime position. We loved Trapani and Sicily. The people were all so friendly. We were very lucky to be in the old town area. I fell in love with the horse carts and plumage and would love to buy one if anyone can help me find some contacts?? We were lucky to see a cute pony all dressed in gear at Erice. Everyone from the America's cup loved Trapani and I'm sure there will be lots of positive spinoffs. 10/02/07 very central. comfortable. Taste of real Sicilly. A good base for touring the region. 09/28/07
