The newly built swimming pool measures 11 m x4.5 m. There are many small pebble and flat rock beaches near the villa where the sea is crystal clear. Please don't be put off by pebbles as the sea is beautiful and plastic shoes or flip flops will protect delicate feet. The sea around the Faraglioni rocks is spectacular and is located near the villa.
"Perfect for us, two small families.
Scopello is a peaceful place. Everybody there were wondering how we could manage without a car, but for us it was not a problem, the restaurants and the shop where in a walking distance. We had trips to Palermo, Erice and Segesta in a bus by Simsalabim."

The Sicily region
With its fascinating beauty almost everywhere, lovely coastline, picturesque villages where you can test the excellent wine and authentic Sicilian cuisine, unspoiled nature and fashionable resorts, Sicily has everything you could possibly want for your holiday!
There are many places which are really worth visiting and spending time: Cefalu, Taormina and Mount Etna Europe's highest and most active volcano (3,323 meters) near Catania in the north east of the island, the majestic monuments in the Valle dei Templi (Valley of the Temples) of Agrigento, the beautiful Trapani area and Erice.
The coasts offer a landscape of fascinating beauty almost everywhere. There are hundreds of beautiful beaches, most famous are: Cefalu, San Vito lo Capo, Scopello, Taormina, Trapani, Pachino, Pozzallo, Marina di Modica and groups of marvellous smaller islands are scattered round the coast: the Aeolian Islands, the Egadi islands, the isle of Pantelleria and the Pelagie...
The west side of the island has beautiful scenery namely the Zingaro Nature Reserve (in the Province of Trapani), and the area of Monte Cofano with its ancient caves in Scurati. Between Trapani and Marsala, in the protected area of Stagnone, is the Via del Sale (The Salt Route) with windmills for processing salt, some of which are still operating, while others are set up as historical museums. An obligatory stop-off is the island of Mozia, once a Phoenician settlement, with the Withaker Archaeological Museum.
The Archaeological Park of Selinunte with the Acropolis and various temples one of which is in excellent condition. Motorway 29, exit Castelvetrano-Marinella di Selinunte, approximately 40 minutes from Castellamare del Golfo by car
The National park of “Zingaro”
A string of pearls, seven kilometres long. A long line of peaked walls, harsh headlands, magnificent inlets, deep indentations, underwater grottoes and tunnels, low reefs, narrow valleys, fantastic pebbly sandy beaches that reflect in the uncontaminated sea of constantly changing colours; once blue now azure, turquoise, light blue, further out, a blue, the sky blue. A magnificent place to walk and swim.
There are two entrances, one from San Vito Lo Capo and the other from Scopello, about 7 km from the villa.
The ancient seaside town of Scopello is believed to stand on the site of the ancient town of Cetaria, which got this name because of the exceptional abundance of tuna fish in its sea.
San Vito lo Capo is a well-known seaside resort especially because of its beautiful white sandy beach with clear crystalline water. It is about 30 minutes by car from the villa
Erice is a charming medieval town 571 metres above sea level. The charming medieval mountain -top town of Erice is delightful offering the visitor a truly interesting variety of museums, churches, cathedrals and pretty cafes. About 40 minutes by car from the villa
This charming holiday property is located just 1 km from picturesque Scopello – a pretty town that offers tourists all they need for an unforgettable holiday; The house is just 300 metres from the sea and its impressive coast adjoins the stunning Natural Reserve of "Lo Zingaro". It’s 40 km away from Palermo Airport and 50km from Trapani airport, 10km from Castellammare del Golfo where you can find all kinds of services and amenities such as shops, pharmacies, restaurants, supermarkets etc.
