About the home

The Holiday House "La Chiusa" have the name of the area where they are located; in fact it rises from the renovation of some sailors locations.

The holiday apartment is placed in the historical heart of Castellammare del Golfo a pleasant town in Western Sicily. The town is set in the beautiful gulf that bears its name, at the foot of a high and rugged mountain, rich in luxuriant vegetation that goes down slowly to the sea until it reaches the little peninsula where the Castles rises, between two magnificent beaches of soft sand.

La Chiusa offers rustic apartments in renovated sailor houses in Sicily, 20 meters from the port of Castellammare del Golfo. The accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV with DVD player and a kitchenette. The apartments are also provided with sheets and towels.

The nearest beach from La Chiusa is only at 250 meters.
You can find a bus stop at a 5-minute walk that provides local connections.

Each apartment in the accommodation is independent and has a large bathroom with shower.
Nearby you can find free parking.

Conditions

Cancellation policy: Reservations can be canceled free of charge until 15 days before the date of arrival. 15 to 7 days before the arrival date clients will be charged 50% of the total cost of the stay. After this deadline the full price of the stay will be charged.

If you come to Palermo by plane or ship just take the motorway Palermo-Trapani (A 29) and, after about 30 -40 minutes, exit for Castellammare.

You can rent a car at the airport or at Castellammare.

If you arrive by train at station Castellammare del Golfo (2 km.), you will always find a bus that will take you downtown or the beach.

The property is easily reached along the road that takes you to the town centre and to the port.
