Kerry's capital town, Tralee is a regional centre for tourism in Ireland. Here you will find that there is no shortage of things to do, a visit to the Aquadome, a guided tour through a medieval castle, a round of golf on a great course, a boat trip to see 20,000 qannets in colony, a walk or bike ride in Europes quitest valleys and hills or a visit to a pub to enjoy a meal, a conversation with friendly locals and stunning scenery in the surrounding area.

The County Kerry region

Kerry, known as the ‘Kingdom County’ in Ireland, is one of the highlights to any visit to Ireland. Most famous is the Ring of Kerry, Irelands most renowned day trip.
The spectacular Lakes of Killarney are a must see.
The fishing town of Dingle, located in North Kerry is famous for its traditional pubs and music. It’s also one of the last remaining Gaelic speaking areas in Ireland.
To the south of Kerry is Kenmare.
Scenic drives around West Cork are also possible as it is within 2 hours drive to West Cork.


Tralee area

Tralee is well renowned for its variety of entertainment, friendly locals and stunning scenery in the surrounding area.
Tralee is home to the internationally renowned Rose of Tralee Festival, which is held in the town each August. This attracts large numbers of visitors to the area.
Siamsa Tire (Ireland’s National Folk Theatre) is based in Tralee. It provides nightly performances during the summer months as well as being a facility
The Aqua Dome in Tralee is one of Irelands largest indoor waterworlds.
Tralee is a major tourist attraction and with the many beautiful beaches and championship golf courses close by, along with the Rose of Tralee festival each August, there is something in Tralee for everyone.



How to get there

Tralee is easily accessible by air, rail and ferry.
Ryan Air flights from London Stanstead and Frankfurt Hann.
Fly to Shannon, Cork or Kerry and hire a car. A car can be booked from all airports. One can bring their own car also from the UK and come on the ferry to either Rosslare, Dublin or Ringaskiddy.
There are also regular train services from Dublin to Killarney and bus services to Tralee.

A separate utility room with waching machine is off the kitchen.
The main sitting room is cosy and has a furniture suite that can seat 6. This room has a gas fire. There is a TV in this room.
Leading off the main hall way is nother more private sitting room which boasts a fireplace and 2 lounge chairs.
