The lounge and upstairs bedroom , which can also be used as a 2nd lounge, have superb views over the surrounding houses as well as a grand view to the" RUINE," ....the ruined castle with its enviable history, on the opposite bank of the river Ideal for Families or a mixed group who want some space.

The near vicinity offers a variety of facilities which enables you to enjoy this beautiful region.. As a result of which, in Traben you will find amongst others a mooring from which several boat trips leave the Mosel. You can rent bicycles on which you can discover the famous “Moselradweg” or nicely relax in the thermal baths or on one of the cosy terraces. Of course cities such as Cochem and Bernkastel are appealing, but also for the fanatic biker, Eifel towns such as Daun ( with its splendid volcano lakes) over the Mosel-Maare biking course are reachable within a day. Going back, you can simply use the special bicycle bus which comfortably takes you back to Traben at the end of the day.
Furthermore the wine feasts in September and October in the entire Mosel region are highly recommendable. The region bursts with activity and several events are offered for the Burgundian as well as the nature lover.. These spacious and modern apartments enables you to enjoy it all .

How to get there
Nearest Airport Frankfurt Hahn (approx 20 kilometres) is operated by Budget Airline Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) Frankfurt Hahn Airport has a number of hire car companies that operate from the terminal. Taxi ride from airport to Traben Trarbach is approx 30 euros. Shuttle bus available ,if booked in advance, which takes you to Bullay, from where you can take a train to Traben Trarbach. Frankfurt Main Airport is 140 km. From Frankrurt Main International Airport there is a regional train line to Traben Trarbach via Frankfurt city, Koblenz and Bullay. Trains run regularly. Note... Last train From Bullay to Traben Trarbach is approx 10pm. Taxis available from Bullay. From Frankfurt Main International Airport there is also a "Bohr' bus, which leaves outside the terminal and goes directly to Frankfurt Hahn. This costs approx 12 euros per person including luggage and is a very pleasant coach ride through the Rheinland area. Information Kiosk at airport can direct you to the exact spot easily. From Frankfurt Hahn taxis are available to Traben Trarbach. By Car; drive directly to your door.

The beds have been purchased with comfort in mind. 4 single beds, a double bed and a double sofa in the lounge which can be closed off for privacy. TImber beams and wooden floor enhance the character of this apartment in a old slate building. New colourful eat in kitchen with all facilities, including microwave, jug, coffee perk, cooker, toaster, fridge etc Shutters to keep the sun out and the heat in. Heat pump /Air conditioner with remote control. Log fire for winter. Satellite english tv and dvd . Beaut views Spacious. Laundry Facilities in the apartment including iron and ironingboard. Bicycle storage downstairs. Car park outside on the street. We can store your non valuable luggage. (conditions apply) Cot and Highchair available on request. Bathroom has shower, bath ,WC and handbasin, hairdryer etc. ALL linen and towels provided including a change for longer stays.
