Apartment Traben is located just a few minutes walk from the train station in Traben Trarbach... Luxury,, Private and Peaceful, our 3 apartments have easy access to all amenities, including the local markets, supermarkets, river, town centre and square, (for the wine festivals ) as well as 25 restaurants and bars ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE . THIS IS A VALUE FOR MONEY APARTMENT !
No car needed / park outside the apartment door and walk around.
Sleeps 6- 8, plus a baby in cot.
INTERNET available at the Tourist Bureau.
This home has 1 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms plus a completely separate lounge with a proper comfy sofa double bed, Also an eat in kitchen. Good size rooms...One twin bedroom is upstairs on a separate level. .
The sanctuary/ upstairs bedroom , (which can also be used as a 2nd lounge), have superb view over the surrounding houses as well as a grand view to the" RUINE," ....the ruined castle with its enviable history, on the opposite bank of the river

This apartment does not have a balcony but has a separate attic room with a superb view over the town. This room can be used as a bedroom or as a second lounge.

Apartment Krov (downstairs) has a Balcony leading from the Living Room. Apartment Krov has only 2 bedroom and sleeps a maximum of 6.
Apartment Enkirch is on the ground floor and has 2 double bedrooms ( for couples) as well as extra sleeping in the lounge for up to 4.
Our new House in Zell in the pedestrian street is also available from JUNE 2013. Sleeps up to 8. Real cute!

For insurance purposes and to keep these apartments in top condition and cheap...the following applies......
After checking the apartment on arrival the DETAILS of the passport, of the person who has made the booking ,as well as the 100 euro security deposit will be exchanged for the keys. The security deposit will be refunded immediately on departure.... minus any damage or losses.......but excluding fair wear and tear..
We do not accept credit cards or debit cards. Cleared cheques , bank deposits , drafts or cash only.
We can accept pay pal but fees apply.
1x Cleaning/linen/key charge per visit of 45 E
Deposit is non refundable unless apartment can be re let.
Keys available from 16:00 on start date / Check-out 10:00 on departure date...or by negotiation.

The Rhineland / Rhine Valley / Rhineland Palatinate region

The near vicinity offers a variety of facilities which enables you to enjoy this beautiful region.. As a result of which, in Traben you will find amongst others a mooring from which several boat trips leave the Mosel. You can rent bicycles on which you can discover the famous “Moselradweg” or nicely relax in the thermal baths or on one of the cosy terraces. Of course cities such as Cochem and Bernkastel are appealing, but also for the fanatic biker, Eifel towns such as Daun ( with its splendid volcano lakes) over the Mosel-Maare biking course are reachable within a day. Going back, you can simply use the special bicycle bus which comfortably takes you back to Traben at the end of the day.

Furthermore the wine feasts in September and October in the entire Mosel region are highly recommendable. The region bursts with activity and several events are offered for the Burgundian as well as the nature lover.. These spacious and modern apartments enables you to enjoy it all .

Nearest Airport Frankfurt Hahn (approx 20 kilometres) is operated by Budget Airline Ryanair (www.ryanair.com)
Frankfurt Hahn Airport has a number of hire car companies that operate from the terminal.
Taxi ride from airport to Traben Trarbach is approx 30 euros.
Shuttle bus available ,if booked in advance, which takes you to Bullay, from where you can take a train to Traben Trarbach.
Frankfurt Main Airport is 140 km.
From Frankrurt Main International Airport there is a regional train line to Traben Trarbach via Frankfurt city, Koblenz and Bullay. Trains run regularly. Note... Last train From Bullay to Traben Trarbach is approx 10pm. Taxis available from Bullay.
From Frankfurt Main International Airport there is also a "Bohr' bus, which leaves outside the terminal and goes directly to Frankfurt Hahn. This costs approx 12 euros per person including luggage and is a very pleasant coach ride through the Rheinland area. Information Kiosk at airport can direct you to the exact spot easily. From Frankfurt Hahn taxis are available to Traben Trarbach.

“Spacious, Clean, Centrally Located and Accommodating Owners” The apartment was spacious, clean, and well furnished. It had views of historical churches and remnants of an old fort. The location was great for walks along the Mosel River, to the Internet Cafe, hikes in the vineyards, to restaurants and grocery stores, and to the train station. Parking on the street was never a problem. Most noteworthy was the accommodation of the owners and manager. I stayed for two months, and whenever there was an issue, they responded immediately and resolved the issues.

“Traditional German accommodation in a picturesque area” I chanced upon this apartment accommodation while looking on the internet for a place during the festive long weekend in Sep-Oct 2011. I was aware of scams with accommodation on the internet - be assured that these apartments are legitimate. Emails to the owner were answered promptly and with great advise. I found it slightly strange that I didn't receive confirmation of my deposit and final payment in writing in the form of receipts - but this is normal in Germany. The apartments are located back from the main street in Traben and have been renovated quite nicely. The kitchen equipment has everything necessary. The attic room had a lovely view across the roof tops and provided us with an uninterrupted look at the ruins on the hill across the Mosel. Parking was easy to find around the apartments' streets. It was a short walk to the Mosel River and to the bridge to Trarbach. One tip: When you ring the door bell of the manager's place, go to the door on the far right as you look at the house - there are two doors and believe me, you don't want to ring the other one in the middle of the building! Also, for those who need to know, there is no lift (elevator) within the apartment building.

“nice flat,friendly manager.lovely area” nice comfortable appt with a friendly lady looking after it who lives adjacent.parking a bit of a lottery but we always found somewhere close.a really lovely area with loads of options for trips[we only scratched the surface] traben trabach itself a lively interesting town with plenty of good and varied eating options.overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday

“Excellent venue, fabulous countryside, great value” The apartment is really well situated in the village, sitting on the cobbled streets leading from the river. The extra space in the loft is worth it but the main bedrooms are large and the kitchen well equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a range of restaurants all within walking distance. The area is spectacular with its steep sided hills and vinyards. I would recommend hiring bikes - we managed to get reluctant teenagers to cycle 50km on the flat riverside cycle paths so we found it wasn't that necessary to drive anywhere.
