About the home

Traditional Provence house with great fire place in the middle of the house with great kitchen and several covered terraces arond the house.

Old doors and beamed ceilings throughout the house with great atmosphere and large dining/sitting room linked to the traditional kitchen with major fire-place at the end of the linked sitting-room.

Linen and towels are provided upon request. Great deals for longer stays.

-this is the ultimate experience in a Provence style villa which has been built next to the original small 17th century annexe, which has been transformed into a separate bedroom with shower and toilet. The villa is surrounded by a mature garden and lots of space in a quiet and charming environment.

1000 Euros will have to be paid before booking is confirmed. This amount will be used as security deposit and paid back after departure.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

This is the warmest part of France with no Mistral wind as is the case with other parts of southern France.

Tourrettes sur Loup is located between Vence and Grasse two centres of culture and history on the Cote D'Azur and close to the famous medival village St Paul de Vence. Vence with the famous Matisse chapel, St Paul de Vence with Fondation Maeght and Grasse, the perfume capital.

Tourrettes is a charming 14th century little mountain village with cobbled streets, good restaurants, galleries, a weekly market and lots of charm with great views on the coast and shopping. The house is located one kilometre from the village in quiet surroundings.

The mountain scenery, the smells, the birds, the olive trees and the scenery will remind you of Provence from the first moment you arrive and these are the ideal surroundings to relax in and enjoy the fabulous nature and mountain ranges.

The Tourrettes sur Loup area

St Paul de Vence has great shopping and restaurants and a very active market several times a week. The Fondation Maeght is worth a visit.

Nice is nearby with the beaches, museums, theatre and festivals throughout the year and a very active university. The Chagalle museum, the Picasso museum at Antibes and the mountain walks above Tourrettes

Further, Nice has all the water-sport activities and the high life of the beach.

Tourrettes sur Loup is a very quaint moutain village with good restaurants, galleries, a local market and all the local amenities you may need. You can walk to town and buy the morning bread in 12 minutes.
There is tennis in the village, bull and soccer.

There are often concerts and theatre in the village and nearby Vence, with its local music-festival in both July and August. There are aldo markets several times during the week where you will find local vegetables

Please note that there is a cleaning fee of 200 Euros which is not included in the rental price.

There are opportunities for negotiated rates in season for late bookings

The weekly rate for long term lets during the Summer period is 1750 Euros, subject to owner's discretion.
