This is the warmest part of France with no Mistral wind as is the case with other parts of southern France.
TourettesSur Loup is between Vence and Grasse two centres of culture and history on the Cote D'Azur. With the famous Matisse chapel, Gallerie Maeecht and the perfume capital of Grasse.
Tourettes is a charming 14th century little mountain village with cobbled streets, good restaurants galleries, a weekly market and lots of charm with great views on the coast and shopping. The house is located one kilometre from the village in quiet surroundings.
The mountain scenery the smells, the birds, the olive trees and the scenery will remind you of Provence from teh first moment you arrive and these are the ideal surroundings to relax in and enjoy the fabulous nature and mountain ranges.
Tourrettes sur Loup area
St Paul de Vence has great shopping and restaurants and a very active market several times a week. The Maeght gallery and the Matisse chaple.
Nice is nearby with the beach, museums, theatre and festivals throughout the year and a very active university. The Chagalle museum, the Picasso museum at Antibes and the mountain walks above Tourettes
Further, Nice has all the water-sport activities and the high life of the beach.
Tourettes sur Loup is a very quaint moutain village with good restaurants, galleries, a local market and all the local amenities you may need. You can walk to town and buy the morning bread in 12 minutes.
There is tennis in the village, bull and soccer. There are often concerts and theatre in the village and nearby Vence with its local music-festival in both July and August.
