The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne region
The region is known for its beautilful countryside, which is dramatic and has numerous quaint towns & villages dotted throughout the area. The region also boasts countless chateaux, caves, view points & museums, providing the visitor with many activities and places to visit. Why not take in the markets that overflow with local produce such as foie gras, truffles, walnuts, duck & goose.
Local towns include: Cahors, Fumel, Toulouse, Montauban, Tournon d' Agenais and Montcuq.
Villeneuve Sur Lot / Saux area
The Tournon area is perfect for that relaxing, rural escape. Unwind in the large private garden or relax by the pool. Why not enjoy a BBQ, cooking with fresh, local ingredients? There are many markets available locally in all directions and on every day of the week. The most famous though is the Sunday market of Montcuq.
