The Touraneena area
The village of Touraneena has a pub and shop which provide great Irish hospitality and produce, and is also home to a fly fishing school. For a day trip, the Nire Valley, with its ancient Bronze Age sites and smoking waterfall, is worth a visit and will give you panoramic views of Waterford, Tipperary, Cork and Kilkenny. A little further afield the town of Dungarvan can be found; a lovely, multi-coloured old harbour town, this is a real haven for fishing, boating, wind surfing and walking enthusiasts. Nearby attractions include the Round Tower and St Declans Way at the village of Ardmore, the beautiful Mount Melleray Abbey at Cappoquin and Lismore Castle.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
