La Chaumiere is a charming Grade II Listed cottage property situated in Totnes and close to the banks of the River Dart. The property provides an ideal base for exploring this cosmopolitan town which has a wonderful bohemian culture and an international reputation for its lively and diverse community. Totnes is the place to visit for heritage and culture and as well as a range of eclectic shops and restaurants with Dartington Hall a short drive away. The property is well presented and coordinated with a french influence throughout with two bedrooms and benefits from a rear courtyard, an ideal place to enjoy 'al fresco' dining.
The living room offers spacious well presented accommodation with furniture comprising of a two seater sofa and coordinating chairs, side table with light with entertainment provided by a wall mounted flatscreen freeview TV, sound system and the provision of Wi-Fi.
Kitchen Dining Room
The kitchen and dining room is situated at the rear of the property with access leading out to the rear courtyard. There are fitted appliances that include an electric cooker with gas hob, washing machine and frestanding fridge with freezer compartment. Dining is provided by a dining table and four chairs.
The bedrooms are both located on the first floor.
Bedroom One is located at the front of the property and is furnished with a double divan bed with bedside cabinets and side lights, built-in wardrobe and an occasional chair.
Bedroom Two is located at the rear of the property and is furnished with two full sized single beds with a bedside cabinet and side light and a large freestanding triple wardrobe.
The bathroom is furnished with a white suite comprising of a panelled bath with electric shower over, low level wc and a pedestal washbasin with illuminated mirror over.
Situated at the rear of the property is an enclosed south facing raised patio area. An ideal place for 'al fresco' dining leading directly off the kitchen and dining room.
Unfortunately there is no allocated parking space at the property. On street parking is available but this is restricted during the day. There is also a pay and display car park located close by.

Here at Blueriver we like to go the extra mile to ensure our guests are comfortable and feel welcomed. We will continue to supply the little extras for our guests to enjoy. Being located in the historic town of Totnes does have its compromises and unfortunately parking is the compromise. We will look into finding alternative parking in close proximity for 2015 guests.
