The Lombardy / Lake Garda Area
Some fifty miles long and eleven miles across at its widest point, Garda stretches from Alpine-like Riva di Trento at its northernmost point, to the almost Mediterranean resorts of its southern shores. The lake is one of the most popular of all 'lakes and mountains' destinations and it's easy to understand why. Equally favoured by mild winds in the winter and cooling breezes in the summer months, the lake's equable microclimate provides a perfect backdrop for enjoyable holidays.

Toscolano Maderno area
Besides the two towns of Toscolano and Maderno, which sit on the alluvial fan of the Toscolano River, the community is made up of several picturesque villages: Maclino, Vigole, Sanico, Gaino, Cecina, Roina, Cabiana, Folino and Bezzuglio. The territory is dominated by peaks of Mount Pizzocolo (1582 m) and Mount Castell di Gaino (866 m): both afford breathtaking views. The particularly mild climate, even in winter, makes this a marvelous vacation spot. Along the shore there are many camping sites and hotels to suit any need, and delicious local dishes are served in the characteristic restaurants and bars. Due to the extensive network of roads and trails, walks or excursions on horseback or with a mountain bike are possible in the vast hinterland.

Further details indoors: The living room has an incorporated kitchen and dining area, though in summer you will probably enjoy dining outside on the terrace and enjoy the fabulous view of Lake Garda and the mountains beyond. The living area seats 4 - 5 people comfortably, and there is a flatscreen TV and DVD player on the mezzanine floor where there is a double bed and scatter cushions. The indoor and outside dining facilities both seat up to 6 people comfortably.
Kitchen and facilities The kitchen is incorporated in the living area and has a modern design, and is fully fitted with fan oven, hob, and fridge - everything you need to prepare your own meals.
Main bedroom The main bedroom has a double bed, and two additional foldaway bunk beds. The style is modern and minimal, with a chest of drawers and access to the rear garden. This room sleeps two adults and two children.
Second bedroom on the mezzanine The second bedroom area is on the mezzanine floor, hidden from view of the floor below. This area has a tv and dvd player, a chair-bed and an-en suite wc. This area sleeps 2 adults comfortably.
The shower room downstairs has a shower with unlimited hot water, sink unit, wc, bidet. There is a washing machine downstairs in the basement garage.
Further details outdoors: On site you can swim in the pool, sunbathe on the terrace, communal front garden or private rear garden, or go for walks in the surrounding woods and hills. Within 30 minutes driving distance are the theme parks at the south end of Lake Garda (6 or 7 fun parks including Gardaland, water parks, movie theme parks and safari parks). Within 15 minutes are several championship golf courses, watersports clubs (sailing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing and windsurfing). In winter ski day trips are possible - we can help you organize this. Venice is a 2 hour drive, Milan is a 1 hour drive and Verona is just 40 minutes away
