If you want fantastic, direct sea views, this cosy studio apartment has it! The terrace offers great views to the sea - you can almost touch it!
Perfect for 1 person, a couple or a little family.
Consisting of a large main living area with a comfortable sofa-bed (2 sleeps), kitchenette and separate shower room and terrace. The ideal place to relax and enjoy that lovely sea view, is by sitting in the sofa or taking your breakfast, lunch, tea time or dinner in the conservatory (which cover the whole wall length) on the 2 chairs and table.
This comfortable apartment is located, west facing, on the 6th floor of a 7 storey building (2 lifts available); beach-side, so unobstructed sea views), with plenty of parking outside and beside the block. In a well established building right on the coast, you have direct access to the beach and the promenade, where are restaurants, bar and shops. You have access to a shared swimming pool and 2 free tennis court.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular destinations for holidays having a temperate climate, it is popular with sun seekers the whole year round. Torrox-costa has over 330 sunny days per year!!!!
Torrox-Costa is a nice resort not overcrowded, located in the east side of The Costa del Sol, 45 minutes drive from the airport of Málaga, with 9km ( 5,6 miles) of sandy beach. Between Nerja and Torre del Mar, surrounded by a range of mountains at its background which prevents cold winter wind.
Torrox-Costa has a long coastal promenade which runs the length of Torrox Costa resort with a choice of excellent restaurants, typical Spanish bars, pubs, shops, Internet Café, Tourist Office, childen play park, exercise machines and also supermarkets.
Torrox / Torrox Costa area
This region is a very well know tourist area famous for it's climate, cosmopolitan life styles and history. Torrox is one of that many typical whitewashed villages that are perfect to make a visit, such as Competa and Frigiliana famous for its wine, or Nerja with its famous Balcon de Europa and the caves.
Torrox Costa is a small town in its own right and has Roman remains from its historical past as a production centre of "garum" a Roman anchovy based paste. The inland village of Torrox has an ancient past with plenty of history and is a typical white washed Andalusian village (just 10 minutes away).
Málaga city (50 minute drive) is a very interesting city to visit, old centre, cathedral, beaches and Picasso Museum. Frequent buses to all locations.
Torrox-Costa is only an hour and half from the Alhambra Palace in Granada and the skiing resort in Sierra Nevada with good skiing facilities being developed. (slopes are normally open November to March) Please check the internet for skiing conditions. You can be sunbathing on a beach in the morning and skiing in the afternoon!

A typical Spanish market is held every Monday morning.
There are three 18-hole golf courses within a short drive.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga International Airport with one of the many budget airlines: Easy Jet, Monarch, Jet 2, BMI Baby, Air lingus, Ryanair, etc. Torrox Costa is a 45 minutes via freeway from Málaga airport.
- TAXI: Taxis are always available. I can provide pick up service from airport if required. - CAR HIRE: All major car hire firms operate from the airport (Europcar, Avis, holiday autos). A hire car is optional. I can give some good address. - BUS: There is a regular bus service from the airport to Málaga, it takes around 50 minutes. Bus stop near to apartment, take shuttle bus to Malaga bus station then direct bus (please check times in advance). The local bus service is excellent and serves Nerja, Frigliana, Torrox pueblo and other interesting villages throughout the area. I give all details after booking.
There are other alternatives airports: Granada airport has opened up recently and although approximately 1 ½ hours away, it has none of the queues and stress that you have at the larger airports. Almeria is approximate 2 ¼ hours away (mostly dual carriageway) and is another alternative.

Further details indoors: The living room features wooden flooring, a double sofa bed, wardrobe completed with hangers, pillows, cushions, blankets, commode and bedside table. The dining area has a table with comfortable seating for two people. The kitchenette is equipped with ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge-freezer, kettle, micro-wave, coffee maker, toaster, an iron, ironing board and all the basic cookware and utensils you'll need to prepare meals. separate shower room with walk-in shower, W.C. and hand-basin.
NO YOUNG SINGLES group permitted, as this is a family area, very suitable for one person, a couple, or small family unit.
Sleeping arrangements is a sofa bed fixed double with all bedding supplied and a third person can be accommodated with a pull out single bed. For long let, over a month, it is possible, on request, a bed with a matress size 150cm.
Bathroom towels, tea towels and bedlinen provided, please bring your own beach/pool towels.

The swimming pool has a lifeguard and the garden are a quiet and peaceful area of relaxation (open from Monday of Holy week till the 31th of October), for the more energetic, two tennis courts are available for booking.
No car needed. Close to supermarkets, bus stop, taxis, banks, shops, bars, restaurants, doctors, nursery, pharmaphy, Internet café, drugstore, etc...
Torrox is a little traditional village located about 2km (1,25 miles) away with main shopping facilities and Velez Málaga is a 8 minutes drive down the motorway which contains a large shopping centre, bowling alley, cinema, water park (summer time only), Zara, Mango, supermarkets and Dunnes Stores!

Conditions
Changeover day flexible: Arrival and departure dates are not fixed therefore guests can stay for any length of time. This enables you to search for the cheapest flights, except summer period, from the 3rd of July till 28th of August 2010, which is only Saturdays.
A non refundable deposit of 30% on the rental price, is required before a reservation can be confirmed. Returnable damages deposit of 200 euros (or the equivalent in your country currency) in cash, payable on arrival.

Very nice apartment with a really great view! Clean, great location. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone. Fantastic view. Perfect place for beach holidaymakers. As a single, female with 2 kids, we spend all days on the beach and pool. We enjoyed specially the street vendors and artists in the evening along the promenade.
Great holidays. Incredible view to the sea. Sun all day, they said “it is the best climate from the Costa del Sol”, i did not believe, but it was perfect, we almost miss the rain!!!!. Clean, quiet, comfortable. We stayed 3 month. March 2008
