The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Torrox boast to have the best climate in Europe and is only five minutes drive from Nerja and 30 minutes from Malaga. Just over an hour away you can visit the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada and the skiing resort in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Close by are the attractive white village of Torrox Pueblo, Frig iliana and Competa.
Torrox / Torrox Costa area
A must place to visit are the caves in nearby Nerja and the well known Europa Balcon. Restaurants and bars are plentiful in Torrox and most within easy walking distance along the recently built promenade. There is a water-park open during the summer months in Velez-Malaga about 15minutes drive in the car. Various festivals throughout the year are worth a visit as are the local markets. The nearest golf course is again about ten minutes drive away.
