About the home

Luxury Villa near Nerja. Our superb 2 bedroom Villa, our home in Spain, is situated on a private garden style development surrounded by well kept lawned areas. Only a forty minute drive from Malaga Airport, under 2 hours from either Granada Airport or Almeria Airport and only a couple of minutes drive from the lovely resort of Nerja.

The sandy beach of Torrox Costa is directly in front of the development approximately a 15 minute walk away, with shops and restaurants near by.

The on site facilities include a large Swimming Pool, Bar, Snack bar serving English food, A'la Carte Spanish and Italian Restaurants, Supermarket, Tennis Courts, Games Area, Laundry, and Internet Cafe.

Our very spacious Villa has a private walled front garden, with pathway leading to the entrance door.
The lounge is very well furnished and has a double convertible sofa bed and an additional settee. There is also a Satellite TV plus DVD player and dining area for 6 adults. From the lounge there are patio doors leading to a double width tiled terrace and large private lawned garden complete with table chairs and Bar B Q for dining alfresco.

The Villa has two large bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds and a rollaway bed.
Both bedrooms are very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. There is also an Iron, Ironing board and hairdryer available for guests use.

The excellent kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances including a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave. There is a large window overlooking the front garden and an elegant archway opening on to the dining area.

Please note that this is our second home and is furnished as such and not as a rental apartment.

There are an excellent range of facilities close to Torrox Park, including a small Marina, Golf Course, Horse Riding and of course superb beaches with a range of Water Sports.
Skiing is available in the Sierra Nevada mountains between November and April which are about 1.5 hours drive from Torrox Park.

The Costa del Sol region

The area of Torrox Costa and Nerja remains a very unspoilt area of the Costa del Sol with controlled tourism blended with the natural beauty of the area and the existing white washed villages. The area represents great value for money with average costs of drinks and eating out being far less than the large tourist area’s of Torremolinos and Marbella.

This area has Europe's only micro climate of spring like weather during the winter months due to its position on the coast and protection gained from its proximity to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It's one of only a few places in the world that you can ski in the morning with sea views and be back on the beach sun bathing in the afternoon.

The are numerous activities available locally including golf, horse riding, water sports, mountain biking, hiking, a water park, and the world famous caves at Nerja were in the summer there are classical music and opera performances deep underground. A little further a field are the famous Spanish towns of Granada with the wonderful Alhambra Palace and Rhoda with the oldest Bull Ring in Spain or head back to the old city of Malaga with its pavement cafes in old town squares and visit the Picasso Museum.

Torrox Park is an excellent garden style development of villas and apartments surrounded by well kept lawns and flower beds. The facilities at Torrox Park include a large swimming pool just 50 metres from our villa, within a few minutes walk there are a bar, and snack bar serving English food, an a'la carte Spanish restaurant, an excellent and great value Italian restaurant, that also provides fresh take away pizza's etc, a well stocked supermarket, tennis Court, games area, carhire, taxi rank and laundry

Our Villa is around 45 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. There are hundreds of flights every week from the UK to Malaga, departing from most of the UK airports. These include Charter Airlines from Thomson and Thomas Cook, plus several low cost airlines including Ryanair, Easyjet, Bmibaby, Monarch, jet2 and even British Airways. Flights to Malaga Airport are also available from most European Cities as well and several Worldwide departure points. The journey from the airport to our Villa is very easy and straight forward with full directions and map provided with every booking.
