Villa 'Casa Lillotte' is situated in a picturesque hillside setting on the edge of Torrox Pueblo, a traditional Spanish village near the delightful resort of Nerja, and just a few minutes drive from the beach at Torrox Costa.

The villa has 3 bedrooms, and comfortably sleeps 6 adults in addition to two children.

From its tranquil setting Casa Lillotte enjoys unique panoramic views of the mountains and the sea from the elevated pool terrace and is the perfect base for an 'away-from-it-all' self catering holiday with the family.

The villa offers excellent fully air conditioned accommodation throughout and provides everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Children are welcome, and Casa Lillotte is very well equipped for small children. Stair gates are fitted & travel cot can be provided at your request. Gates are provided around the garden areas so that you may cordon off areas as you wish.

Given Casa Lillotte's idyllic location and excellent facilities, it's not surprising that Irish television chose our property to feature in the reality TV series "Life Without Me".

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Spain's Costa del Sol is world-renowned for its sunny climate and beautiful sandy beaches, and in both these respects a holiday with us won't disappoint. However, the region has a lot to offer you whatever your interests.

If you're keen to learn more about Spanish history and culture, then the vibrant city of Malaga is only half an hour away by car and is packed with popular tourist attractions, from the eleventh-century Moorish fortress of the Alcazaba to a number of churches, museums and other monuments.

For keen golfers, the Costa del Sol boasts a perfect climate and a seemingly endless supply of touring players, making it an ideal golfing location - to the extent that it's affectionately known as the Costa del Golf! From Torrox there are many top class golf courses within easy reach by car. For example, Baviera Golf at Torre del Mar near Velez Malaga is a first class 18 hole course that's just a 10 minute drive away. If you tire of the beach and long to escape to the mountains, Spain is becoming increasingly popular as a skiing destination and you can reach the snowy peaks with ease from you base at Torrox.The Sierra Nevada is an easy 140km (85 mile) journey with motorway routes taking you almost all the whole way. You can enjoy a full day's skiing in the Sierra Nevada and still make it back to Torrox and relax in the swimming pool. Full details about the region's ski resorts, ski passes and equipment hire are available on request.

Torrox / Torrox Campo area

From Casa Lillotte, it's just a short walk to the pleasant village of Torrox, which boasts many pleasant traditional style Spanish restaurants and tapas bars. Torrox Pueblo also has a small but well-stocked supermarket and a few giift and souvenir shops. A few minutes away by car is the beach at Torrox Costa, which also has a number of restaurants catering entirely for the holidaymaker.

Just ten minutes away by car, meanwhile, is the delightful town of Nerja. Be sure to pay a visit here and sample its wonderful shops, restaurants and beach. Nerja boasts a wide range of bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. You can enjoy a traditional Spanish cuisine or sample Chinese, Italian and even Indian. At Burriana beach - a famous local hot spot - you can take a break from sunbathing and sample freshly made paella at one of the many beachside restaurant cafes. At night Nerja remains alive and provides entertainment with many bars and clubs appealing to the young and the not-so-young. Nerja also has many shops of all kinds. As well as the essential supermarket - which offers an excellent range of fresh produce - you'll find many delightful shops. Designer clothes, sportswear, and gift stores are very popular and you will be spoilt for choice when hunting for souvenirs.There is a market in Nerja every week.

How to get there

The nearby international airport at Malaga is served by a range of budget airlines, including Aer Lingus, bmibaby, Easyjet, Flybe and Ryanair.

An easy journey of just over 35 minutes from Malaga Airport takes you to the ideally located coastal village of Torrox Pueblo.

Casa Lillotte has 2 floors, fully air conditioned throughout. On the ground floor there is a spacious open plan kitchen area and a sitting room which leads on to a covered terrace.A bathroom and a large family bedroom complete the ground floor accommodation.The well equipped modern kitchen has all you need for hassle free catering. There is a built-in electric oven and hob, dishwasher, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer and many other essential and luxury items for your convenience.The dining area has seating for 6 and a full range of tableware is provided.The sitting area features a cosy wood-burning fire and there is seating for 6 people to relax in comfort.There is plenty of entertainment at the villa; Satellite TV, CD player and audio cassette/radio are provided for your use.

Casa Lillotte has 2 large bedrooms and 1 twin sleeping up to 6 adults and 2 children in comfort. A large family bedroom comprising of 2 double beds, a wardrobe, bedside chests and ceiling fan is situated on the ground floor and has an adjacent modern bathroom with shower.Climb the gated spiral staircase to the first floor and you will find the master bedroom. This comprises a king size bed, wardrobe, bedside chests and a ceiling fan and also boasts it's own private patio area. Also on the first floor is bedroom 3 comprising twin beds, a wardrobe and a bedside chest. A modern luxury bathroom completes the first floor accommodation. All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

From its unique hillside setting you can enjoy panoramic views in all directions - from the mountains to the sea - as you relax by the pool.

The swimming pool measures 8x4 metres (heating available for a weekly supplement of £150) and is surrounded by a spacious terrace featuring a kitchen / barbecue area. This is equipped with a bar, fridge and sink - perfect for preparing poolside drinks and snacks. A large range of sun loungers, patio furniture, accessories and lighting provides everything you need to enjoy this area to the full - by day or by night.

Between the villa and the pool a spacious covered terrace makes an ideal setting for evening meals overlooking the illuminated pool and night views beyond. There is also a convenient utility area for drying washing. Below the pool terrace a garden path leads through the many fine flowers, shrubs and trees to a shaded terrace where you can relax away from the fast pace of the pool!

Conditions

All bookings are on a Saturday-Saturday basis (minimum stay 1 week). A week's rental of Casa Lillotte is based on arrival from 17.00 on Saturday and a prompt departure at 10.00 am on Saturday.

We require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental price and payment of the balance is required no later than 8 weeks prior to departure.

A breakage deposit of £300 is required.

September 2008 - We found Casa Lillotte purely by chance on the Internet, and how lucky we were. This villa is heavenly. Katie has dome the most wonderful job and created a little paradise up in the hills above Torrox. Immaculately presented (the pictures are fabulous but even they do, not do it justice) CL is very much more. than the sum of it's parts. The pool is generous in proportion and thanks to the heating, comfortably warm; the villa itself is surely the most comprehensively kitted out of any rental I have spent time in; everything has been thought of: the position is just close enough to the coast as to be readily accessible but just secluded enough to afford peace and quiet. It helps too that every inch is immaculate and the attention to detail in the finish really is exceptional. Katie herself and her team went out of the way to help with any queries we had and nothing was too much trouble. This was our last break before baby two arrives and we arrived with a tired four year old badly in need of some sun and relaxation. Casa Lillotte ticked every box. It exceeded our expectations a hundred fold and we very much look forward to returning in the near future. This place is a real find.

All of the participants were hardworking business people, mums, dads and even a grandma - who needed "time out" from their lives to relax and rejuvenate.
