121 Montesol is our extremely comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom Bungalow (75 sq mtrs) in Torrox, Spain and is situated on an excellent garden style development of Bungalows and apartments surrounded by well kept lawns and flower beds. Only a forty minute drive from Malaga Airport, under 2 hours from either Granada Airport or Almeria Airport and only a couple of minutes drive from the lovely resort of Nerja.
This very spacious Bungalow has a private walled front garden with a pathway leading to the entrance door and a spiral staircase at the front of the property that leads to a large roof terrace (55 sq mtrs). This is suitable for BBQ's and sunbathing with superb views of the Sierra Nevada mountains behind and coastal views to the front.
The lounge is very well furnished and has two large settees. There is also a Satellite TV plus DVD player and dining area for 6 adults. From the lounge there are patio doors leading to a tiled terrace and large communal lawned garden complete with a table and chairs for dining alfresco. The Bungalow has two large bedrooms, one with a King size bed, the other with two single beds and a fold away camp bed. There are also two travel cots for the little ones. Both bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances including a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave. There is ample FREE parking just a few steps from the Bungalow. (Smoking is not permitted inside the Bungalow but is allowed on both the roof terrace and the patio). Bedsheets are changed once a week and a welcome pack of essentials will be waiting for your arrival, these items include tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bottled water, toilet roll, washing up liquid and washing powder.
Torrox Park's on site facilities include a large communal Swimming Pool just a minutes walk from our bungalow.

The Andalucia region
The area of Torrox Costa and Nerja remains a very unspoilt area of the Costa del Sol with controlled tourism blended with the natural beauty of the area and the existing white washed villages. The area represents great value for money with average costs of drinks and eating out being far less than the large tourist area's of Torremolinos and Marbella.
This area has Europe's only micro climate of spring like weather during the winter months due to its position on the coast and protection gained from its proximity to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It's one of only a few places in the world that you can ski in the morning with sea views and be back on the beach sun bathing in the afternoon.
There are numerous activities available locally including golf, horse riding, water sports, mountain biking, hiking, a water park, and the world famous caves at Nerja were in the summer there are classical music and opera performances deep underground. A little further afield are the famous Spanish towns of Granada with the wonderful Alhambra Palace and Rhoda with the oldest Bull Ring in Spain or head back to the old city of Malaga with its pavement cafes in old town squares and visit the Picasso Museum.
Torrox Park's on site facilities include a large communal Swimming Pool which is just a minutes walk away from the Bungalow, and within a few minutes walk there is a bar, a snack bar (serving English food), a Spanish restaurant, an excellent great value Italian restaurant that also provides fresh take away pizza's and a very well stocked supermarket.
The sandy beach of Torrox Costa is directly in front of the development approximately a 15 to 20 minute walk away, with a range of shops and restaurants nearby. There are an excellent range of facilities close to Torrox Park, including a small Marina and Golf Course.
Skiing is available in the Sierra Nevada Mountains between November and April which are about 11/2 hours drive from Torrox Park.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. We know that when on holiday guests want to relax so we have tried to make sure that everything is there to ensure that they do exactly that.
We are in the throws of trying to locate some maps for guests to use. But in the mean time we have tried to give addresses and locations of as many places to visit as we could. We will also be placing a map that we have done ourselves of the park and surrounding area in the information folder for guests to take out with them the next time we are over.

"Absolutely brilliant and will defiantly be returning again next year!!!!"
We went here for a long weekend as it was recommended. We had never been to mainland Spain before and can honestly say that I loved the place, it is a quite friendly town but also offers plenty to do near by! The bungalow was very clean and the people we booked with were friendly, they answered any of our questions before we went about the area and gave us plenty of advise. We were advised to get a car which I would recommend as it gives you more freedom to look around, can honestly say that driving on the Spanish roads was not that bad at all!! We are looking at booking again next year but for a longer visit this time!!

"Very comfortable and worth the money."
