Within reasonable walking distance of Torrox Costa, with its extensive beaches and paved promenade where over 100 restaurants, play areas and water sports facilities are available. The bustling town of Nerja, with its excellent beaches, good range of shops, restaurants and bars is just five minutes drive away. Golf courses, water parks and other attractions are within easy reach and the Sierra Nevada, offering skiing facilities, is less than a 90 minute drive away. Renowned for its unrivalled climate, the locality offers opportunities for walking, mountain or road biking and other sporting activities, or just relaxing!

Villa is cleaned after every departure and before arrival of new guests. All linen, towels, tea towels and beach towels are included. There is plenty of bedlinen/towels to enable guests to change these during longer stays.

The villa is on two levels and has two sets of steps, one leading from the road to the lower level and another to the upper level. This makes it unsuitable for less mobile, elderly or disabled people.
The villa has pleasant gardens, with washing lines at the rear on the upper level. There is a large lower terrace with barbecue, stone dining table and benches (seats 10), providing plenty of space for relaxing 'al fresco' dining. There are further patio areas on both levels, one with sun canopy and four sun loungers are also provided. There is a large, well-maintained communal swimming pool with sun loungers, chairs and a lifeguard in attendance, tennis courts surrounded by gardens and children's play area, all within sight of the villa. Ample parking is available directly outside the property. The expansive views from the terraces and balcony towards the Sierra Almijara Mountains and down to the sea are superb and guests can enjoy the glorious sunsets, which are a magnificent sight from this vantage point.

The Andalucia region
Malaga Airport is a 40 minute drive away, where there are a number of car hire companies to choose from. Hiring a car would enable visitors to explore the traditional whitewashed mountain villages and beautiful Natural Park areas that are plentiful in this part of Spain. Cities that are well worth a visit, include Granada, home of the spectacular Alhambra Palace and Cordoba, where the Mezquita - or 'Great Mosque', which was begun in the year 600 is a splendid display of architecture.
The nearest beach, with several beach-side bars and restaurants, can be reached in three minutes by car, a 15-minute walk, or local bus service. Torrox Costa has numerous restaurants, comprehensive water sports and children's facilities. There are many other superb beaches to choose from along the coast road towards Nerja, which is 5 miles away.
If you do not want a car then local taxis are only 5-6 Euros.
There are several large supermarkets along this stretch of the coast.
Within three minutes walk from the villa there are two small supermarkets, a hairdressing salon, a launderette and a selection of bars/restaurants. Banks, larger supermarkets, post office and numerous shops can be found at Torrox Costa, which is a short walk or five minutes drive away and taxis are available at reasonable rates. In less than 90 minutes, the Sierra Nevada can be reached by car, where there are excellent skiing facilities during winter months through to May. With the unique regional climate, it is possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. Local activities are varied, with horse riding and art classes being very popular. For anyone interested, details of bicycle tours around Malaga and guided walks in the hills and mountains with a local Spanish guide can be provided on request.
