Azalea Apartment(Sleeps 2 or 4)
A chic and elegant first floor apartment, Azalea offers the ultimate in stylish accommodation. The impressive landing hall, with its domed glass ceiling light, leads to a large twin bedroom and spacious double bedroom - both with ensuite facilities. The open-plan living/dining room and contemporary kitchen provide you everything you need to unwind, relax and enjoy an unforgettable break.
Azalea apartment enjoys breathtaking views over the garden and is equipped with all the modern conveniences you would expect, while still retaining the original charm of Lady Anne's former home.
Rosemoor House has long been somewhere to get away from it all and enjoy country pursuits; Lady Anne's father purchased the estate in 1923 using it as a family fishing lodge between March and May. Following his death the lodge became a home to Lady Anne and her mother who put the first hard landscaping onto the site at the Stone Garden. Prior to this installation Lady Anne described the garden as “dull and labour intensive”
A passion in horticulture was sparked in Lady Anne in 1959 when she was recuperating in Spain from measles. She subsequently made many trips around England and Spain taking cuttings and beginning what has become RHS Garden Rosemoor today. Many of the 4000 plants you see in Lady Anne's garden are specimens she later collected from South America, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, the USA and Japan
Rosemoor now hosts 2 national collections, Cornus and Ilex; and is truly a garden for all seasons
