Beaford village is less than 1 mile offering a local family pub serving good food. Beaford is ideally located for touring the local area including Exmoor, Dartmoor and the North Devon coastline. The Cavalier town of Great Torrington is nearby offering shops, pubs and attractions including Torrington 1646 Visitor Centre where the last Battle of Torrington is re-enacted, Dartington Crystal where you can see glass being blown and RHS Gardens Rosemoor which are all worth a visit. Fishing, golf courses at High Bullen, Libbaton and Torrington, cycling on the Tarka Trail, horse riding and flying all available locally.
