DELIGHTFUL BARN CONVERSION IN  RURAL SETTING WITH LARGE ON-SITE FISHING LAKE. SLEEPS 4+1

This former barn, which has been lovingly fitted and furnished to a high standard, is perfect for couples and families wishing to explore all that pretty North Devon has to offer. It is situated on a working family farm yet also offers an array of creature comforts.

The nearby town of Torrington, known as the 'Cavalier Town' from the Civil War of 1646 is well worth a visit and boasts an arts centre, the Dartington Crystal visitor centre, and popular RHS Rosemoor. The seaside town of Westward Ho! is a short drive away and offers keen surfers, body boarders and bathers 2 miles of golden sands to enjoy, and pretty Instow a great opportunity to indulge in a Hockings ice cream! Other nearby attractions include the quaint fishing villages of Appledore  and Clovelly, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, and the market town of Bideford with its weekly pannier market, access to the Tarka Trail, Burton Art Gallery, Victoria Park and quayside. Farm activities: guests are welcome to see the animals including sheep and cattle, and help feed the lambs when in season. Leisure facilities: on-site fishing lake full of carp, roach, tench and rudd available for guests to use (by arrangement with and payment directly to the owners).

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms, accessed via two steps down from the living area: 1 double with en-suite shower room with WC, and 1 twin, also with en-suite shower room with WC. 1 additional child (12 years or under) can be accommodated on single temporary bed (provided). Lounge/kitchen/diner: beautifully light and airy open-plan living space with large windows with flatscreen TV/DVD. Kitchen area: modern fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: enclosed lawn garden adjacent to the property for the sole use of guests with play equipment, garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: private off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, central heating, electric and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking inside the property. Regret no pets. Location: sandy beaches at Westward Ho! and Instow 10 miles, selection of pubs shops and restaurants within walking distance in Torrington.
