The property is located in a residential street, mainly occupied by British people. Many of these people actually live there year round, whilst there are also a good number of holiday homes.There are shops, pubs and restaurants close by and there is also a local supermarket within a few minutes walk.
The main town front of Torrevieja is approx. 10 minutes away by bus and this has a fantastic front with shops, restaurants, bars, shop stalls and even a year round fairground. There is a new mall within walking distance of the apartment and also a fantastic Carrefour hypermarket that has to be seen to be believed. There are numerous golf courses nearby.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Costa Blanca means 'white coast' and it is situated north of Costa del Sol on the coastline of Spain. Torrevieja is approx. 40 minutes drive south of Alicante airport and 40 minutes drive north of Murcia airport. Both airports have regular flights from the UK.
Torrevieja Town area
Torrevieja is a beautiful seaside town, with two harbours. the main shoping street is packed with shops, cafes and bars and the actual sea front is just a one block walk through from this street. the front itself is a delight to walk along with lots of market stalls for shopping, cafes, bars and tons of restaurants. There are street entertainers, amazing sand sculptures and a resident funfair.
Boat trips are available from the harbour and there is a magnificent new shopping mall between the apartment and the seafront - about 10 -15 minutes walk from the apartment.
If you have a car, there is a great safari day out at Elxe just up the coast. There are go-carts within a 10 minute drive (not just great fun for the kids, as they have some very fast 400cc honda carts) and Alicante is also lovely.
How to get there
Fly from many UK airports to either Alicante or Murcia - both airports are approx. 40 minutes drive from the holiday home. We can arrange a pick up for you from the airport, by the English lady that looks after our apartment. This is cheaper than a taxi and they will take you straight to your holiday home and give you information about buses, shops, pubs etc. and also make sure everything is Ok for you upon arrival. Car hire is also available from either airport on a weekly or daily basis.

Further details indoors: The furniture was all replaced with new items towards the end of 2004 and the apartment is in very good condition, - the overall age of the property is now approx. 3 years. The satelite TV gets BBC, ITV, Skysports. MTV and for the kids ,,,,,cartoon network. The swimming pool is private but is next door so you can walk out of our gate, take a few steps to the right, and then use your key to get into the swimming pool area.
Further details outdoors: The garden is private and the balcony at the front door gets the sun from early in the morning until 11am although it is covered so you can usually find shade if you need it. There is garden furniture which includes a table and chairs and this is the perfect spot for eating most meals.
Once the front porch goes into the shade, you can place the loungers in the garden to get the sun or you can go next door and lie beside the swimming pool. The pool has a baby area and is never overcrowded.
Further details
We rent the apartment out on a 'trust' basis - i.e. we expect guests to leave it in the condition they find it, as we always ensure the property is well looked after and kept very clean and tidy.
Conditions
No security deposit is required, and we ask for a deposit to be paid with the booking and full payment to be made 6 weeks prior to arrival date.
