The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The climate is one of the best in Spain, regularly being in the high 30's in July & August. In just over an hour by car, you can be in Benidorm to visit the waterpark, dolphin park & Terra Mitica. Forty minutes drive will take you to the old town of Murcia, where the shopping is great & the nightlife is better. Being an old town, it has many spectacular buildings, including the cathedral. On the return journey, you will find Orihuela, another old & fascinating town.
Torrevieja Town area
Torrevieja has become a popular holiday resort for the british, meaning there is no difficulty if you don't wish to speak the language. There are many bars & restaurants along the promenade & also in the town. These range from Chinese, Indian, English, Mexican & of course Spanish. There are also many fish restaurants as this is a local trade. Torrevieja holds its weekly market on Fridays, but if you miss that one, there are plenty more around. The aquapark is a free bus ride away. The bus can be picked up in the main town opposite the bus station. Along the blue flag beached there are many fantastic sand sculptures for all to see.
How to get there
-Fly to Alicante or Murcia airports. -Car hire is available online or at the airports. carjet.com is competetive. -There are taxis available directly from the airport at approx 70€ each way. -We can also supply transfers from the above mentioned airports for 70€ return.
