Centrally located for leisurely evening strolls to nearby bars and restaurants, the apartment is also within five-minutes walk of the long promenade and Blue Flag beach, as well as the international marina complex.
Torrevieja is large enough to encourage exploration of its many attractions whilst being small enough to do it all on foot. You’ll never be short of things to do and places to visit here, whether you're a sports lover, food fan, history buff or simply a sun worshipper. Torrevieja is home to some of Spain’s most beautiful golden beaches and its ancient sea-port is steeped in history. The superb climate makes Torrevieja a favourite year-round venue for amateur and professional sporting types and there's a whole range of activities available, from diving to sailing, fishing to windsurfing. Golf enthusiasts are particularly well catered for with four golf courses in the surrounding area.

Torrevieja Town area
Nestled around its beautiful plaza and church, dating back to 1798, and overlooked by the Torre del Moro, a 14th century watchtower,Torrevieja has become a first-class tourist location in recent years. It boasts 360 days of sun a year and an average temperature of 18°C. There are many beautiful beaches, squares, walks, parks, gardens and other natural beauty spots (Ferriz), aswell as some wonderful historical monuments such as the "Modernist Casino" which dates from the begining of the century and has a famous hall in the mozarabic style; the "Recinto de las Eras de la Sal" an open, air theatre.
Torrevieja is also well known for for its outstanding port, the remains of which can still be seen in La Mata, called the embarcadero romano, or Roman docks. Along the coast are the ancient watchtowers called El Moro and La Mata, used in the Middle Ages to warn the coastal inhabitants of attacks by Barbary pirates.
Unlike many of Spain’s holiday resorts, Torrevieja maintains its Spanish character and traditions. Fiestas are held here most months of the year when tourists mingle with the locals to party in the streets in true Spanish-style. One of the biggest festivals of the year is the "Habaneras" international music contest which takes place in August. The festival attracts a live and television audience of hundreds of thousands of people. It's a great time to holiday here…but book your accommodation well in advance!
How to get there
The resort has excellent accessibility from the UK being equidistant from both Alicante and Murcia's airports. EasyJet, RyanAir and Jet2 all have direct services from Manchester and Liverpool. Transfer time is minimal, only 35 minutes from either airport. Car hire is cheap and widely available. To make life easier for you, transfers to and from Alicante and Murcia airports can be arranged for you at a small additional cost.
