Home description
Brand new two bed one bathroom apartment. Enter into the living / dining room with sofa bed, TV, DVD and coffee table. To the rear is a dining room table with four chairs. Archway entrance into kitchen which is fully equipped with cooker, oven, fridge and washing machine in an external utility area. The kitchen has all the utensils required for a dinner party! The other arch way in the lounge leads to the bedrooms and bathroom.
The double bedroom has double bed with table and lamps. There is also a built in wardrobe. The bathroom has bath, shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin with light vanity mirror. The second bedroom has two single beds bedside table and lamps, built in wardrobes provide ample clothes storage. The apartment also has air conditioning, a balcony with patio chairs, table and parasol for alfresco dining. Additional items include iron and ironing board. The property is cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival. All linen and towels are provided.
All you need is yourself and a beach towel!

Torrevieja area / Los Altos/Punta Prima area
Torrevieja being situated only 30 – 45 minutes from either Alicante or Murcia is said to be one of the healthiest places to live in the world with its surrounding mountains and natural salt lakes creating a unique micro-climate. An average annual temperature of 18 degrees Celsius makes this a very desirable holiday destination.
The sandy beach at Punta Prima is a 15-minute walk from the apartment. Other beaches within a 10 min drive include La Mata, Playa Flamenca and the Blue Flag Beach at La Zenia. These are some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean and most have entertainment area for children, volleyball nets, bars and restaurants. Plus of course, golden sand and crystal clear water. The climate and the beaches of course lend themselves to a variety of water sports like wind surfing, surfing, water skiing and so on.
One of the largest markets in Spain is held locally every Friday morning at Salinero between 8am – 1pm where you are sure to bag a bargain. There is also a fantastic craft/hippy market held in Torrevieja each night between 8 and 12pm on the promenade. This promenade really comes alive at night with many lively bars and restaurants, there is a taxi rank within a 5 min walk of the apartment so you can really make a night of it!.
Also within walking distance of the apartment there are many bars and restaurants at the commercial centre Via Park. These include home from home "Spud Murphys" for premium fish and chips and Madissons Sports Bar to watch the match. Also within walking distance are two Chinese restaurants, Ghandi's Indian and Puccini's Italian. About a 20 min walk takes you to the recommended Nautilus restaurant overlooking the sea at Punta Prima.
There are a wealth of activities to choose from around this apartment. So if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing break away, or a lively exhilarating holiday or just a family holiday where the kids wont get bored this really is the place for you.
How to get there
This apartment has excellent access from either Alicante or Murcia airport with Alicante being only 40 to 45 minutes drive and Murcia a little closer at 30 to 35 minute drive.
Budget airlines fly to both these airports making getting there both inexpensive and very straightforward.
I personally would recommend hiring a car from the airport this is very easy to do when booking your flights.
