Home description

This Villa is situated in the quiet residential area of 'Los Dolses', Villa Martin. It is close to many sandy beaches and coves and top class golf courses. It is also in walking distance to a choice of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarket. The property is decorated in modern Mediterranean style, and consists of 3 bedrooms, (4 with the apartment) spacious lounge/dining area, 2 bathrooms (3 with the apartment), two with bath and shower and 1 shower room. There is a large private roof terrace, front patio and private front garden. The swimming pool is barely a minutes walk from the Villa.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Playa Flamenca is the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its 2 large natural salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths in the lakes in order to alleviate their aches and pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are an hours drive away through orange and lemon groves and picturesque mountains. Playa Flamenca boasts a continuous series of sandy coves and Blue Flag beaches all within a short distance from our properties.


Torrevieja area

Situated just 25 miles south of Alicante airport and 20 miles north of Murcia airport, Torrevieja, which derives its name from the Old Tower, is still essentially a fishing community whose port houses one of Spains largest fishing fleets. It also has large salt lagoons and is one of the oldest and most important salt producing centres in Europe. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambience and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Shops, markets, bars and restaurants are in plenty and cater for all tastes and pockets.

In addition the well known and poplular "Villa Martin Square" is just a few minutes drive away from Los Dolses.

GOLF
For golf fanatics the area boasts some of the finest golf courses on the Costa Blanca. The closest being Club de Golf Villamartin (Barely 10 minutes walk away), Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas de Orihuela, Golf & Country Club La Marquesa and Club de Golf La Finca all within a 30 minutes drive away.


How to get there

The nearest airports are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier). Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away and Murcia airport is 20-25 minutes drive. There are many airlines that fly into both airports some of which include, Flybe, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Excelairways and BMI Baby plus many more. We can arrange car rental from either airport which can be picked up and returned to the airport. Alternativley we can arrange airport transfers. The company we use has a 9 seater people carrier and they will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your holiday accommodation. If you choose car rental we will send you written directions and maps of the local area. For longer stays why not bring your own car and drive down. There are ferries from the UK and Ireland to Northen Spain (Bilbao & Santander) or even take a leisurely drive through France down to the Costa Blanca.

The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a dishwasher and there is a separate utility area that is equipped with a washing machine. The dining area is equipped with a table and chairs and the lounge area is equipped with 2 settee's. The two double bedrooms have wardrobes with fitted shelves, bedside tables and stand-up-fans, the single bedroom has two single beds, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan.

Air-Conditioning units are fitted in the lounge and master bedroom of the main villa. Use of these units is available as an optional extra.

The apartment has a lounge, dining area, double bedroom, bathroom with bath and overhead shower and separate kitchen. The lounge is equipped with a bed settee with an extra pull out bed, the dining area is furnished with a table and 4 chairs. The bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes and the bathroom is fitted with a bath and overhead shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and has oven,hob and fridge/freezer. There are fans for summer use and heating for winter rentals.

Private rear garden, large front patio, communal swimming pool, large private roof terrace. Patio furniture, sunbeds and BBQ.

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance (5-10 minutes approx). The restaurants include Spanish, Chinese, Tai, Indian, Italian and International. There is also a choice of large supermarkets close by and a Saturday street market that is ideal for buying fresh fruit and vegetables, ceramics, leather goods and clothes.

Please Note:
The one bedroom self-contained apartment is not rented out separately, it is only available as an optional extra for large parties.

A welcome pack of groceries and cleaning before arrival and after departure is included in the rental rate.
There is heating and winter bedding provided for winter use.
Fans are provided for normal use but air-conditioning is available for an extra charge. Please ask for price.
We can arrange cot hire and highchair hire if required for an extra charge of £10 per week, per item.
We can also advise on car rental or arrange airport transfers for you. Please ask for quote.
We require a deposit to confirm a booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.


Conditions

A security/breakage deposit of £50 for 1 week bookings and £100 for 2/3 week bookings is required which is fully refundable assuming there are no breakages, damage or extra cleaning required.
