Home description

This very spacious modern first floor luxury apartment (Sleeps only 2) is approximately 3 years old and is furnished to a very high standard. It offers 1 double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan, spacious bathroom with bath & shower. The lounge is equipped with a ceiling fan, 3 seater settee and the dining area has a table and 4 chairs. The American style kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, fridge/freezer, oven & hob, dishwasher and also has a separate utility room which is equipped with a sink and a washing machine. Inside the apartment there are stairs that lead up to the large private roof terrace.

There are patio doors from the lounge that open out onto the spacious balcony. This is equipped with a table and chairs, ideal for eating "al fresco" and watching the world go by.

The apartment is equipped with a security safe provided for the use of guests.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Playa Flamenca is the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its 2 large natural salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths in the lakes in order to alleviate their aches and pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are an hours drive away through orange and lemon groves and picturesque mountains. Playa Flamenca boasts a continuous series of sandy coves and Blue Flag beaches all within a short distance from our properties.

Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area

Situated just 25 miles south of Alicante airport and 20 miles north of Murcia airport, Torrevieja, which derives its name from the Old Tower, is still essentially a fishing community whose port houses one of Spains largest fishing fleets. It also has large salt lagoons and is one of the oldest and most important salt producing centres in Europe. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambience and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Shops, markets, bars and restaurants are in plenty and cater for all tastes and pockets.

GOLF
For golf fanatics the area boasts some of the finest golf courses on the Costa Blanca. The closest being Club de Golf Villamartin (Barely 10 minutes drive away), Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas de Orihuela, Golf & Country Club La Marquesa and Club de Golf La Finca all within a 30 minutes drive away.

How to get there

The nearest airports are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier). Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away and Murcia airport is 20-25 minutes drive. There are many airlines that fly into both airports some of which include, Flybe, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Excelairways and BMI Baby plus many more. We can arrange car rental from either airport which can be picked up and returned to the airport. Alternativley we can arrange airport transfers. The company we use has a 9 seater people carrier and they will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your holiday accommodation. If you choose car rental we will send you written directions and maps of the local area. For longer stays why not bring your own car and drive down. There are ferries from the UK and Ireland to Northen Spain (Bilbao & Santander) or even take a leisurely drive through France down to the Costa Blanca.

The apartment has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and has a three seater settee and an arm chair. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a dishwasher. There is also a separate utility room that is equipped with a sink and washing machine.

Further details outdoors:
There are patio doors off the lounge that lead to a large balcony that is equipped with table and chairs, there is also a large private roof terrace that is equipped with table, chairs and sunbeds.

The large communal swimming pool is barely a minutes walk.

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance. (10 minutes approx). The restaurants include Spanish, Chinese, Tai, Indian, Italian and International. There is also a choice of large supermarkets close by and a Saturday street market that is ideal for buying fresh fruit and vegetables, ceramics, leather goods and clothes.

Further details

A welcome pack of groceries and cleaning before arrival and after departure is included in the rental rate.
Fans are provided for summer use and there is heating and winter bedding for winter use.
We can arrange cot hire and highchair hire if required for an extra charge of £10 per week, per item.
We can also advise on car rental or arrange airport transfers for you. Please ask for quote.
We require a deposit to confirm a booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Conditions

A security/breakage deposit of £50 for 1 week booking or £100 for 2/3 week bookings is required which is fully refundable assuming there are no breakages or extra cleaning required.
