The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Playa Flamenca is the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its 2 large natural salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths in the lakes in order to alleviate their aches and pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are an hours drive away through orange and lemon groves and picturesque mountains. Playa Flamenca boasts a continuous series of sandy coves and Blue Flag beaches all within a short distance from our properties.
Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area
Situated just 25 miles south of Alicante airport and 20 miles north of Murcia airport, Torrevieja, which derives its name from the Old Tower, is still essentially a fishing community whose port houses one of Spains largest fishing fleets. It also has large salt lagoons and is one of the oldest and most important salt producing centres in Europe. This old town with its attractive marina and port has a warm welcoming ambience and will surely appeal to those who look for a relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style. Shops, markets, bars and restaurants are in plenty and cater for all tastes and pockets.
GOLF For golf fanatics the area boasts some of the finest golf courses on the Costa Blanca. The closest being Club de Golf Villamartin (Barely 10 minutes drive away), Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas de Orihuela, Golf & Country Club La Marquesa and Club de Golf La Finca all within a 30 minutes drive away.
How to get there
The nearest airports are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier). Alicante airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away and Murcia airport is 20-25 minutes drive. There are many airlines that fly into both airports some of which include, Flybe, Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Excelairways and BMI Baby plus many more. We can arrange car rental from either airport which can be picked up and returned to the airport. Alternativley we can arrange airport transfers. The company we use has a 9 seater people carrier and they will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your holiday accommodation. If you choose car rental we will send you written directions and maps of the local area. For longer stays why not bring your own car and drive down. There are ferries from the UK and Ireland to Northen Spain (Bilbao & Santander) or even take a leisurely drive through France down to the Costa Blanca.

All rooms are fitted with either ceiling fans or stand-up-fans. The Villa is equipped with digital satellite TV with over 30 TV stations and 15 radio stations. Channels include Sky sports 1+2+3, Sky movies 1+2, Sky news, ITV 1+2, BBC 1+2 , several Spanish channels and many more. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances and there is a separate utility room that is equipped with a washing machine. The dining area is equipped with a table and chairs and the lounge area is equipped with a 3 seater settee and 2 armchairs. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with shelves, bedside tables, lamps and ceiling fans.
Further details outdoors: The private garden is equipped with a further table and chairs and is ideal for barbecues and eating outside on hot summer evenings. The large private roof terrace is perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun during the day.
