The property is on the brow of hill with views of the Med. Would not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulty, however the hill can be avoided by choosing a different route. Just two minutes walk away you can hire bikes for 5 euros a day. within a short walking distance you will find a varied selection of bars range in from your quite Spanish tavernas to your typical holiday fun spots, a wide choice of restaurants, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and of course English - if you're missing home comforts there's also English fish and chips! Several supermarkets are in easy walking distance. Which provide you with plenty of variety and choice, If your mood takes you further afield the bus stop is located across the road to the busy resort of Torrevieja, buses run approx every 20 mins

It's hard to talk about La Mata without talking about the excellent beach in La Mata, without doubt, one of the best beaches in Spain is in La Mata - the beach has held the European Blue Flag for several years, for cleanliness, water quality and safety. There a plenty of lifeguards, first aid huts and refreshment kiosks open all day on the beach, and there are sunbeds and parasols available for hire at competitive rates. During high season pedal boats are available for hire - they are great fun, especially the ones with the slides on the back!
How to get there
The bungalow is 35 min drive from Murcia San Javier airport airport, 40 min drive from Alicante airport. Most major airlines fly to both the above airports.Skyscanner.com and kayac, both are comparison sites and they will search for the cheapest flights. Also you can view a full month and see which is the cheapest flights. We will be glad to help you with any advice when booking your flights. Ryanair is one of the budget airlines that fly to both airports.It is good to search both airports and airlines to ensure you get the best deal. All the budget airlines fly to one or the other airports.Transfers can be arranged.A car is not necessary.Aproximate distance between airport and holiday home is 40 km.

Further details outdoors: Superb communal pool area. Patio leads onto beautiful gardens with flower beds and large fabulous pool. The outside gardens are meticulously maintained to the highest standard. This area is usually so quite and totally relaxing even in June and September, the only exception is the months of July and august which are very busy. You are just a few steps to a refreshing drink from the fridge in your bungalow. All sunbeds and parasol are stored in the bungalows utility room.they are extremely light so can be easily carried to the beach.
