Home description

This appealing apartment is in a residential area within 2 minutes walking distance to local amenities (supermarket, restaurants, bars and playground) with several blue flag beaches and 3 championship golf courses within a few minutes drive away. The apartment has 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom (with adjoining bathroom) and a double sofa bed in the lounge area. There is an open plan kitchen, large dining and lounge area leading to a balcony. It has been tastefully decorated and equipped with modern appliances making this a home from home.

The apartment is in a residential area, a couple of minutes walk to local restaurants and shops with the buzzing Playa Flamenca commercial area a 5 minutes drive or 20 minute walk away. This commercial area has a wide range of restaurants, bars and pubs. At Playa Flamenca , there is a large Saturday market which is a mile away attracting a vast variety of vendors selling local crafts, leather goods, household items and clothes. The apartment is a 5 minute drive from Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima and La Zenia beaches with several other blue flag beaches within 15 mins drive. There are 3 championship golf courses in the surrounding area Villamartin, La Finca and Las Ramblas, all within a 10 minute drive. The Spanish fishing town of Torrevieja is a 10 minutes drive away, with a lovely marina and waterfront market. There is a large water park in Torrevieja which is open during peak times.

Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area

Torrevieja - The historic town of Torrevieja is a 10 minute drive away and has a large street market, a lovely marina and lots of sandy beaches. The area boasts 7 Blue Flag beaches providing clean and safe fun for all the family, offering a full range of water sporting activities. You can wander along the beautiful new Promenade of Torrevieja and enjoy the atmosphere of the evening craft market or sit at one of the pavement cafes and watch the world go by. The Friday market is one of the largest in Europe and you will find everything here from genuine Spanish handicrafts, to low priced leather goods, shoes, textiles, silver and a huge variety of fresh local produce. Torrevieja has an average of 320 days a year of sunshine. There are plenty of malls and shopping facilities within Torrevieja.

Local Attractions - If the family fancy a change from playing by the pool or on the beach why not visit the Aquopolis water park in Torrevieja (open summer months), safari park (near Santa Pola), caves (at Canelobre) or the funfair by Torrevieja marina throughout the summer. Aquopolis water park is a great day out for all the family. It has Rapids, Kamikaze & Zig Zag water slides. Wave Pool, Swimming Pools & Infants Pool. Jacuzzi, Mini Golf, Restaurant, Cafeteria & lots more. If you want a day away from the beach or golf courses, why not try a day in the beautiful countryside and enjoy the mountains, pine woods, olive and almond trees, orange and lemon groves plus 2 large salt lakes. The Salt lakes of Torrevieja are a favourite resting place for different varieties of migratory birds, particularly flamingo’s. Alternatively, why on take a trip to the beautiful, unspoilt, Isla Tabarca (Tabarca Island) from Torrevieja marina or a coast line boat trip. There is also go-karting for the more adventurous.

Golf: Costa Blanca is the ideal place for a golfing holiday. Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas golf courses are only a 10 minute drive away. La Finca is the newest club in the area only completed late 2000 again within easy reach from the apartment. The famous La Manga club, with its three courses, is about 40 minutes drive away and is well worth a visit for the golf enthusiasts. Thank you for your interest in our property.


How to get there

The apartment is easily accessible from Alicante (40 mins) or Murcia (20 mins) airports, being just off the N332 Coastal Road. Directions to the apartment will be provided on confirmation of booking. There are a number of airlines that provide affordable flights. Check out www.skyscanner.net, www.easyjet.co.uk, www.flymonarch.com, www.bmibaby.com and www.ryanair.com for flights to these airports.
Competitive car hire is available from www.carjet.com amongst others.

We use the apartment ourselves and find it a relaxing home from home. For families with kids, please feel free to use our beach toys. We have also left a number of English DVD's for you to enjoy in the evenings as well as some children's games and puzzles. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms for those warm summer evenings as well as a heater for the winter. Smoking is fine on the balcony only.

- A deposit of £100 is required when the booking is made. This must be received within a week to confirm the booking. This is a non refundable deposit in the event of any cancellation.
- The remaining payment can either be made in advance, by cheque in sterling (our preferred method), or on arrival in Euros.
- There is an additional € 45 local management charge for cleaning, laundry and meet & greet service payable on arrival.
-Minimum stay three days, flexible changeover days, long term let considered.
- Rentals of three weeks or longer qualify for substantial reductions (except for June, July and August). Please enquire for details.
The apartment should be vacated by noon on the day of departure. Arrival time 4pm.
