The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Torrevieja is conveniently situated in between Alicante and Murcia airports. Alicante is to the north whilst Murcia is to the south. Barcelona and Madrid can be reached within about 5 hours by car. The motorways are excellent and easily accessible.
Being situated on the south eastern coast of Spain affords the region a good all-year-round climate. It is not uncommon to be able to stroll along the beach on New Year's Day in short-sleeved shirts and shorts! The summer months are virtually guaranteed sunshine.
There are a great many places to visit that are close to the town of Torrevieja. San Miguel, Cartagena, Orehuila to name but a few. You may find, however, that the ever-growing resort more than caters for your holiday needs; with its wonderful beaches to relax on during the day and plentiful choice of bars and clubs to entertain you in the evening.
Torrevieja area / Los Balcones area
There is excellent access to the main trunk roads and Murcia and Alicante airports. Hiring a car is recommended as there is much to see and do in the surrounding areas; Benidorm to the north and historic Cartegena to the south.
If you do not have a hire car there are always the bus and taxi services. For the more adventurous, you may wish to consider getting around Torrevieja by bicycle or scooter. Both are inexpensive and can be hired in locally.

A great number of amenities (shops, restaurants, bars etc.) are within walking distance of the development, as well as a number of leisure facilities.
