Home description
The house at La Florida is ideally situated, facing the pool, which is only used by residents and has recently been refurbished. The house has a front tiled garden, a back patio outside kitchen for outdoor dining, a balcony off the second bedroom and a full roof terrace, lots of space for soaking up the sun!
The local amenities are less than 5 minutes walk, supermarket, bars, restaurants, playground, the Wicklow Abbey which has a wonderful beer garden and a supervised play area for the children.
The beaches, too numerous to mention are all within a 5-10 minute drive, all extremely clean and have lifeguards in summer months. For keen golfers, there are many golf courses around the area.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The house is situated in Costa Blanca which has been named by the world health organisation as one of the healthiest places to live. This is due to the climate which boasts 320 sunny days a year.
The area is also home to some salt lakes, these have very good healing properties.
The house, just outside Torrevieja, situated along the coast, has an abundance of amenities, from all the beech watersports, water parks, lots of small towns to explore, salt lakes, and local festivals. La Florida is a residential area with all local amenities in walking distance.
So you can do it all, or you can just sit back and enjoy the Spanish way of life!
Torrevieja area / La Florida area
There are lots of things to in the immediate area, lots of festivals and feast days to be enjoyed. Details at the local tourist office or on websites for the area.
The 5-10 minute drive into Torrevieja town is well worth it, a lovely promenade to enjoy a walk, a very busy market and a fantastic funfair for the kids. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars too.
If you enjoy visiting old Spanish towns there are many around to stroll through, a real sense of stepping back in time. So all in all, the house is well situated, with something for everyone to enjoy.
How to get there
The house is located just outside Torrevieja, so 35-40minute drive from Alicante airport or a 20 minute drive from Murcia airport. Both Airports are served well with low cost airlines and serviced all year round.
there are many car hire operators at both airports but usually better to book online to get better deals as opposed to just arranging it at the airport.
The route to the house can be taken by using the main road the n332 or by using the Motorway. airport transfers can be arranged.
