Torrevieja area / Orihuela Costa area
Adjacent to the Campoamor and Villamartin golf courses. 45 minutes to Alicante airport, 30 minutes drive to Murcia airport. Beaches at La Zenia & Dehesa de Compoamor, watersports available (10 min. drive). Torrevieja is 25 min. away, has a good fish market and lots of restaurants & bars. Murcia with its cathedral, museums and old casino is a 45 minute drive away.
GOLFER ? Located between two ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean, LAS RAMBLAS requires the player to use great precision when hitting the ball, as both fairways and greens are narrow and demanding.

NOT A GOLFER? There are many safe, clean, blue flag beaches with crystal clear water and white sand for the beach holiday enthusiast. The average sea temperature in august is 23 degrees!
Also other sports, including tennis, swimming, sailing, water skiing, riding, go-karts, bowling greens even hot air ballooning are well within reach! Torrevieja boasts probably the biggest marina in Spain (and many smaller marinas including Campoamor & Cabo Roig) for all the boating holiday enthusiasts.
If the kids get bored just playing by the pool or on the beach why not visit the water park, safari park (near Santa Pola), caves (at Canelobre), a boat trip or there is a funfair by Torrevieja marina throughout the summer. Why not try a day in the beautiful countryside with the mountains, plains, pine woods, olive and almond trees, orange and lemon groves plus 2 large salt lakes.
There are many excellent TAPAS bars and restaurants in the surrounding area so you may not feel like making much use of the dining area! Many restaurants have a Menu del dia and it is not expensive to eat out in Torrevieja. As Torrevieja is such a cosmopolitan town it is only to be expected that you will find a wide variety of restaurants - Italian, German, Chinese, even a few Irish pubs. Benidorm and the Terra Mitica theme park is 75 minutes away by car. Torrevieja is situated forty minutes south of Alicante Airport.
