Home description

Beautiful, luxurious two bedroom second floor apartment completed in late 2004. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped to very high standards with satellite TV (30+ Sky Channels), DVD, CD player etc., and is quite superbly positioned in the heart of Playa Flamenca, adjacent to the famous Saturday market and very close to a large number of shops, bars and restaurants.

The apartment is equipped with ceiling fans, which are very effective and, with a wonderful sea breeze blowing into the apartment, you will always be cool - even in the very highest temperatures. A beautiful blue flag beach with a beach bar is within approximately 20 minutes easy, level walk of the apartment, with a large number of alternative and equally beautiful beaches within a very short drive. The famous Villamartin championship golf course is literally just a couple of minutes away from the apartment, with a further 6 golf courses within a 20 minute drive.

The apartment is conveniently situated in the established, private, gated development of Parque del Duque, with a spacious, private residents pool set in beautiful landscaped gardens with benches and picnic area. The aparment block has the excellent benefit of four Bar/Restaurants and a Supermarket on the ground floor at the street side of the development. However, our apartment is on the second floor at the rear of the development, facing towards the sea, so there is absolutely no noise to be heard from the bars - total peace and quiet with the added bonus of that wonderful sea breeze! There is also secure off street parking to the rear of the development.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Playa Flamenca is perfectly situated between Alicante and Murcia airports, with much to see and do in both of these beautiful towns, along with a number of coastal and inland towns and places of interest such as Torrevieja with its' water park , salt lakes and resident pink flamingoes. There is a great number of smaller towns and villges in the area worth a visit, and many, many beautiful beaches.

The climate is extremely agreeable; hot in the Summer and warm in the Winter. The area is worthy of a visit at any time, with much to do all year round.


Torrevieja area / Playa Flamenca area

The apartment is well positioned within the Paya Flamenca development, itself centrally situated within the region, with Torrevieja just 10 minutes drive away, Murcia airport 15/20 minutes drive and Alicante airport 30/35 minutes drive away.

There are a large number of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets within walking distance or a short drive of the apartment, and six beautiful year round golf courses within 20 minutes drive - including the famous Villamartin championship course virtually on the doorstep.

The largest market in the area - the extremely busy and well-known Playa Flamenca Saturday street market is, literally, on the doorstep of the apartment, as is the local school - suitable for those with children who may be interested in a longer let.

The apartment is approx. 15/20 minutes by car from Murcia San Javier airport , or approx. 30/35 minutes by car from Alicante airport.

Cheap flights are available year round from most UK airports. Try Easyjet.co.uk; Flythomson.co.uk; bmibaby.co.uk; flybe.co.uk; ryanair.co.uk etc. etc., or try a search engine such as ask.co.uk or google.co.uk.

For car hire try premiercarjet.com - recently we paid Euro 94.50 for an air conditioned vehicle for 7 days rental, including insurance!

Conditions

A non refundable deposit of £50 per week will be required to confirm your booking.

Balance of rental to be paid 4 weeks before rental date commences.

A refundable cash deposit of £50 or E70 required on arrival. This will be refundable subject to lack of damages and return of keys.

An end of let cleaning charge of E50 is applicable and should be paid to the keyholder on collection of keys.

Airport transfers at extremely reasonable rates can be arranged. Transfer from Alicante airport is E45. Transfer from Murcia airport is E35.
