A 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday apartment located within a beautiful, traditional Spanish complex only 2 minutes walk to TWO award-winning long, white sandy beaches!

The spacious interior is set over 2 levels with a third level of a large, PRIVATE roof terrace with incredible sea views that receives sunshine - ALL DAY LONG.

The apartment is on the first floor within the complex (accessible by stairs), not the ground floor, giving you much added privacy & tranquility.

On the first level of the apartment, you will find:
The living room (complete with sofa, dining table & chairs, coffee table, LCD TV with UK Satellite TV, Xbox 360/DVD Player, CD/Radio Stereo Player with iPhone/iPod docking station),
The kitchen (with washing machine, microwave, oven, gas cooktop hob, kettle, toaster, blender, fridge/freezer),
1st bathroom with shower & WC, and
A sea-view balcony with outside cushioned seating and table that gets sunshine from early morning until late afternoon.

On the second level, you will find:
The Master Bedroom (Double Bed with Memory Foam topper, in-built wardrobe, bedside tables & cupboards, shutters on window) with sea-views from the window,
The 2nd Twin Bedroom with two single beds, in-built wardrobe, bedside tables & window with shutters), and
The 2nd Family Bathroom with shower over bath, WC, bidet & in-built cupboards.

On the third level you will find the large roof-top terrace (approx 24x14 feet), complete with 2 cushioned sun loungers, dining table & 4 cushioned seats, sink with running water & workbench, washing line, and of course, the glorious sea views on both sides.

You will be absolutely spoilt, as the roof terrace literally receives sunshine all day long - from the beautiful sunrise out of the sea first thing in the morning to late afternoon, you will be absolutely bathed in sunlight if you wish!

There is WiFi wireless internet throughout the apartment, and as mentioned, UK Satellite TV and an Xbox 360 (which doubles as a DVD player) with over 20 games and DVDs, as well as many books, and board games too.

The apartment is also equipped in both bedrooms & the living room with powerful electric fans for the Summer months. For the special winter month rates, you also have the optional use of a portable gas heater & the hot water system for an additional surcharge.

There is also a communal swimming pool within the gorgeous complex, as well as manicured flowers & trees, a fountain with running water feature & Romanesque stone statues.

The apartment is only 100 metres away from TWO incredibly long, white sandy beaches which have been given the EU's Blue Flag Award for their outstanding cleanliness and safety:

The more rustic Guardamar Beach (over 5km/3miles long!) with its dunes and greenery, popular amongst the locals, and the more populated La Mata beach (over 3km/1.8 miles long) with its lively boardwalk promenade of countless restaurants, bars, beachside kiosks, as well as volleyball and beach football nets.

La Mata, on the Costa Blanca with its 330 days of sunshine every year, is a quiet, traditional Spanish seaside village located only 40 minutes drive from Alicante Airport (& Murcia Airport) and 10 minutes from the larger Torrevieja.

In La Mata, you will find everything you need to enjoy either a fun family holiday or a peaceful couples' getaway. There are innumerable restaurants of all kinds (from traditional Spanish to Pizzerias to Chinese to an Argentinian Steakhouse Tango Restaurant!), bars & cafes all within easy walking distance of the apartment, as well as numerous mini-markets & a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bank with ATM machines, an internet cafe, and even jewellery & sporting good stores all within a 10 minute walk. There is even a 17 hectare nature park in the town with stunning water features and a picnic area!

The town has retained an unspoilt charm, thanks largely to the lack of high-rise buildings in the vicinity, as well as the local town square/open plaza with its restored 14th century fort & 16th century church. With a primarily Spanish population, the town also has a moderate expat community of British, Scandinavians and Dutch.

La Mata has reportedly been voted by the World Health Organizations as one of the healthiest places in the World to live, thanks to its micro-climate produced by the two large salt lakes nearby, one of which is also an official Spanish Nature Reserve.

The town is also very popular for its incredible all-year weather offering pleasant, mild winters and very warm summers without the stifling heat found in other parts of Spain.

Every Wednesday there is a renowned street market only 1 minute walk from the apartment (on the next road), featuring 250 stalls selling everything from quality fruit, vegetables, pastries, meats & cheeses (at below supermarket prices), to clothes, shoes, handbags, watches, CDs, artwork, sunglasses and jewellery.

You will find everything you need within La Mata but if you do wish to venture out, there are buses all-year round (every 15 minutes in Summer) on a circular loop which will take you into the larger Torrevieja town for €1.35 with, amongst other things, its harbourside, more countless bars & restaurants, discos/nightclubs, cinemas, shopping centres, and a water park. Taxis are also cheap, taking you into the centre of Torrevieja for only €10 Euros.

There is a €50 cleaning charge payable to the keyholder upon arrival, which will cover fresh bedding/bathroom towels for you.

We can also arrange airport transfers with the keyholder for only €30 each way (taxis costs €45-€60).

A £175 security deposit is required prior to your stay and will be returned within 3 days of check-out if there are no breakages/damages.
