The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
For a great day out visit Aquopolis, one of the biggest water parks on the Costa Blanca located just outside Torrevieja or take a trip to Benidorm to visit the theme park Terra Mitica.
Golf courses are approximately 10-15 minutes drive. There are 4 courses; Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor and La Finca (at Algorfa).
Jet skiing (summer only) at Campoamor. Horse-riding, go-karting on the N332 near Playa Flamenca, all within a 10 minute drive.
Torrevieja area / Mar Azul, Torrevieja area
The local supermarket and pharmacy are a ten-minute walk from the property. There is a sandy beach within walking distance of the property but if you have a car a visit to the beaches at La Capitan, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Campoamor are all well worth it. All are sandy beaches with bars and restaurants. Cabo Roig is a great place to visit; there is a marina, a great coastal walk and the beach is a bit quieter.
To walk to the centre of Torrevieja takes about 30 minutes but the bus goes from the end of the road and costs €1.10. If you get off at the bus station you are ideally located for all the shops, restaurants and the night market. On Fridays there is a huge street market and fiestas are a feature during several months of the year.
How to get there
Flights to Murcia or Alicante airport; Murcia approx 20 mins drive; Alicante 45 mins drive. Many airlines fly to either airport e.g. Easyjet, Jet2.com, Flybe, Ryanair.
Private transfer from either airport direct to the apartment can be arranged - please ask.
