A spacious two bedroom ground floor pool side apartment fully equipped with bedding, kitchen facilites, and bathroom, towels supplied for use in apartment only not beach use . close to local amenities but only five minutes form Torrevieja town making it the perfect relaxing holiday. Every thing you need is near by.

The Bedrooms are fully equipped with bedding, pillows, draws, wardrobes, lamps, plug sockets, and mirrors
In the longue you will find a sofa bed, coffee table and a large dinner table with four chairs. There is also a TV with a DVD/CD player.

The Torrevieja Area / La Mata area

Torrevieja is located to the south west of Costa Blanca which is situated on the warm shores of the Mediterranean. Torrevieja is named from the translation of "old" or "ancient tower", a landmark which is found on the north side of the town overlooking the sea. It is named by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live because of the climate. Torrevieja is a typical and genuine Spanish town with narrow alleys, louvred windows and traditional shops to attract the many tourists who visit the area.

The two natural salt lagoons lying close to the town have been recognised for centuries as being beneficial for people with chest problems, arthritis, rheumatism etc. The climate with its lowest average temperature of 15°c combined with around 320 days sunshine each year, added to the famous Mediterranean diet of fresh fish, meat, vegetables, fruit and even a glass of delicious local wine, go towards making a healthier lifestyle a reality.
It is also impossible to talk about Torrevieja without mentioning its beaches with their fine sand and crystal clear waters. They have all held the European Blue Flag for clean seas for several years, awarded for their quality and excellent installations.
The town has an excellent indoor market which is open every day and where deliciously fresh fish, vegetables, meat, and spices are displayed and sold by the typically Spanish stallholders.

Each Friday sees the centre of Torrevieja become a colourful market place where a superb selection of Spanish handicrafts, leather jackets, gloves, bags, baskets, shoes, pottery, textiles and souvenirs are available at excellent prices.

Local restaurants are wonderful for "tapas" (small Spanish snacks) and chilled local wine and beers. Also nearby conservation area for birds and wildlife.

There are two main airports in the Costa Blanca area and these are Alicante, which is just a 40 minute drive to the property and Murcia/San Javier, which is a smaller airport roughly a 45 minute drive away. Despite the recent price increases many airlines are still offering low budget flights to this area.
