Torrevieja and the Costa Blanca is popular with British holidaymakers. Our house is well situated to make the best of all the region has to offer.
The nearest supermarkets are the Consum (in the Punta Marina commercial centre next to the punta prima roundabout) which is a 5-10 min walk, or the Carrefour a 2 min drive or 15 min walk the opposite way (past the house, turn left at the next roundabout, and it's at the bottom of the street).
Restaurants within walking distance – at Punta Marina: Dave's is good for English food, La Piazza does lovely Italian, and just around the corner next to McDonald's Patio Andaluz does typical Spanish food and they have flamenco dancers Thursday & Sunday.
Further down the N332 (roundabout after Punta Prima) is Playa Flamenca commercial centre. You can get here by going to the Carrefour and along the road there too which runs parallel to the N332. There's rooftop mini golf which is great fun. Good restaurants are the Papaya tree Thai, and Vida Italian. There are good bars and atmosphere here in the summer.
The other place we love is the Emerald Isle in La Florida. They do lovely cheap pub grub and have live entertainment on in the summer, as well as a kids play area.
Between Carrefour and Playa Flamenca is our kids' favourite, the funfair. Nice place to go after dinner and let the kids burn their energy off. Bungee trampolines, dodgems, inflatables etc. You have to buy tickets at the kiosk for the rides.
Other things we do in the summer include the mud flats at Lo Pagan. Take a bucket, scoop the mud up from the sea bed, cover yourselves in it and when it's dry wash it off in the sea, great fun.
There is a great little water park in urb La Siesta called Aqua Park Flamingo which is perfect for smaller kids. There is a much bigger one (aquapolis) in torrevieja which is suitable for older kids and adults.
The beach at La Zenia is our favourite (turn left at the second roundabout down from Punta Prima) best on weekdays.
There is a bigger funfair in the centre of torrevieja next to the harbour, Torrevieja promenade is worth a wander too as there's little beaches and rocks to explore. You can get a boat across to Isla de Tabarca from Torrevieja harbour which is glass bottomed.

"Lovely house in a very friendlycomplex"
We stayed in this property from the 19 - 27 Sept 2013. Sue, who looks after the property in Spain met us at the site to give us the keys and show us around. The house was well equipped and had everything we wanted for a relaxing holiday. Wifi was included and an excellent TV package. Although with the weather we had we were never in to watch it. The complex is very friendly and very well run. There are ample restaurants within walking distance and even more a short drive away. It is possible to walk to the nearest supermarket and beach, but a car gives more options for each.

"THE BEST PLACED HOUSE ON THE DEVELOPMENT !"
I shared this holiday with my daughter and her two young children. The house was perfectly placed for immediate access to the lovely pool. The house was well equipped and very comfortable with air conditioning which was was an essential bonus. Restaurants and shops were a short drive away and there was a lot of choice. The local beaches were also just a short drive away as was a marvellous water park and a smallish fairground open til the early hours which the children loved. I would absolutely recommend this house, both for it's price and it's location .

"A little piece of heaven"
What more can I say, this house was perfect for our trip to Spain in 2011. My children fell in love with the pool and I'm pleased to say that although we visited in the summer holidays, the pool was never too busy for us to use. The house had everything we needed and it was lovely to have access to sun chairs rather than being on the grass when we were by the pool. The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed downstairs. It was nice to have access to two bathrooms with having the kids & the washing machine was a god send. The house is just a short walk away from some lovely restaurants, and a shopping complex. We enjoyed visiting the fair on a few nights which was reasonably priced considering it was peak season. I'm sure we'll be back to visit again.
